I'm trying to figure out how to get you some good-for-you food. There are a lot of veggies I don't like, too. But I love fruit. So I do smoothies for breakfast, generally with some kind of green. I find that baby spinach works well with pineapple and grapes - the fruit hides the delicate flavor of the spinach, so I just drink most of my greens.

One of my favorite fish dishes I ever made was salmon with a pineapple and tomato salsa. The salmon was just cooked in a little olive oil over medium high heat, seasoned with salt and pepper. I made the salsa with a seeded and diced tomato with some diced pineapple and some minced shallot and chopped parsley. A little lemon and a side - maybe some basic quinoa if you don't like any of the veggies that pair well with salmon.

I like to saute fish more than just about anything. And I like to flavor of the fish itself, so I tend to prepare it very basic - just salt and pepper, and a good squeeze of lemon.

If you did this angel hair pasta with some whole wheat pasta, it probably isn't terrible for you. http://recipenotincluded.com/2013/06...el-hair-pasta/

You can leave out the tomatoes if you don't like them.

Yep, on occasion. I just did a big batch of beef stock directly in the sous vide. That was interesting. It turned out well, but it was a big mess.

I'm planning to do duck sous vide for Thanksgiving, so we'll see how that goes. I've never done duck, but it's what the wife wanted this year, and Thanksgiving is pretty much her favorite holiday AND this year it falls on her birthday.

Another veggie hater here. The smoothie idea is solid advice. I get a ton of baby spinach ad kale through smoothies, and that's my only vegetable intake on most days. I usually just mix them both with bananas and blueberries, but the pineapple and grape idea sounds good. I'll have to try it.

Discuss, have you tried asparagus? It's one that I surprisingly liked. I just pour a bit of extra virgin olive oil over it, sprinkle it with salt and pepper and put it in the oven for about twenty minutes on 375.

I have not tried it.

Salmon looks amazing FMB, would definitely love to try the pineapple and tomato salsa.

I made a Turducken lasagna last year for Thanksgiving.

That may be something to try if you're just hell bent on getting veggies into your diet.

All I'm sayin' is my grocery chain of choice sells dry ice, I'm on vacation next week, and I haven't blogged in a while. That's all I'm sayin'.
