Before I created an account there was a thread on CP about a toddler that fell into a pit of some sort of violent, wild dogs at the zoo. There was a huge debate amongst CPer's as to whether the parents should have jumped in to attempt to save the toddler. Half of CP was of the opinion that jumping in was pointless because death for whoever entered was inevitable. The other half of CP was of the opinion that whoever wouldn't jump into the pit in that situation was a crummy human being and an unfit parent.

I have no idea why, and I realize this is ridiculous...but I can't read the thread about the crocodile pit without wondering where were that poor old ladies parents, and I wonder if they would have jumped in to save her. Weird, I know.

Also, I'd like to go back and read that thread about the toddler and the wild dogs. Now that I'm more familiar with people here, I'd like to see which posters were on which side of the fence.

According to local Miami media, that coverage decision by the DC is part of a burgeoning defense personnel revolt. Supposedly some players are on record grousing about how shitty the defensive schemes they're being assigned are.
