Smith will never be a HOF QB...but he was the best option and has the 3rd best record in the NFL since coming here...better than Luck, Eli, Rivers, Brees and Flacco.

I'm ready for an elite QB...but Smith gets WAY too much unwarranted hate.

What is your obsession with Geno?

None....he was the 1st QB taken when KC had their pick of the litter. I have never mentioned Geno as far as I know...other than what I just posted above. They didnt like him. Mahomes is the first QB that KC wanted that was realistically available since Smith was traded for...and they went after him. They would have done it sooner had there been someone they believed in.

There hasn't been shit for QBs in the past four years...unless you are drafting #1/#2

Let me put this into language you speak fluently:

The illuminati puppet masters who write the narratives in the NFL gave us the most underwhelming QB perhaps in the history of the league in the year we had the #1 overall pick and hadn't drafted a real QB in 30 years.

This is exactly what the master narrative writers wanted us to keep doing. For those who were unfortunate enough to watch Draft Day with Kevin Coster, you know that the writers of that shitty movie had Kansas City sucking at the hind tit of an unwanted backup that they could acquire via trade, just like they've ALWAYS ****ing done. Given they FINALLY had zero excuses to not take a guy, yeah, Alex Smith was the biggest ****ing turd in the eye those master narrative writers who control Vegas could have given us. That was according to their plan. Keep Kansas City as dependably non-influential as possible and out of the limelight of star QBs. That's what they wanted, and that's exactly what they made happen.

Smith's game wasn't wanted by fans, and now that he's served his boring shitty purpose (a task he fulfilled after 2013 for the most part) it's even less wanted right now.

Ok I think I finally get it. You are a fan of the Chiefs... you just think Alex Smith is cuter than Joe Montana... With that said, I'll have to cordially disagree...

Joe Montana is SO much cuter than Alex Smith!!!!

And to elaborate on Sandy's post... he doesn't hate or begrudge anybody here. He just thinks that we are poverty-stricken, meth-riddled, teeth-missing pieces of shit who deserve to endure long, terrible lives and suffer long, painful deaths and worst yet....never see the Chiefs win a Super Bowl because we don't deserve to experience it....because we don't approve of Alex Smith as our QB. But just to make it clear, he IS a Chiefs fan and he doesn't hate or begrudge any of us.

See that's like saying Rex Grossman lead the Bears to the Super Bowl when everyone knows it was all about the defense and special teams. What happened to Rex Grossman anyways?

He signed with the Browns and thus his football career was over

I wish Alex Smith and his stratospheric QBR/PSU ratings onto the Browns...

Year 12 is usually when QB's start throwing for more than 15 TD's a year. It's going to be a fun year!

You mean the defense that was ranked #24 in total yds given up, allowed Bell to run for 157 yds on 5.7 ypc in our last playoff gm and gave up 45 pts to the Colts in Alex's first playoff gm here? That defense?

You know you are my friend but come on. Alex Smith is way better than Grossman and our defense is overrated. Not saying our defense isn't good, it is but it is far from great.

18 points allowed to a good Steelers offense is outstanding

The year before they went into Pile High without Bell, Brown, and had a SEVERELY crippled Ben and nearly spoiled Mannings retirement party. ( would have with Bell OR Brown OR healthy Ben)

That's a different year. The same Steelers offense went into NE and scored 17-pts, 8-pts when the gm was completely out reach. Based on that NE clearly had a better D than we did.

Once again, our defense was good last year but some of you act like it was great. It wasn't. They sucked against the run all year and couldn't get teams off the field at the end of games when we needed it most both were painfully obvious in our playoff gm against the Steelers. Justin Houston was a big disappointment last season as well. But that's OK because everything is Alex Smith's fault. LOL!

Pasta Little Brioni 05-10-2017 09:34 AM

Bell got hurt that game. So they scored one less ****ing point and you suck NE off ROFL..if our offense puts up a measly 20 points on an average D....we win.

Houston's injury hurt of course basically our best player but the offense put pressure on the defense. So many games that should have been put away and put the opponent's in passing from behind mode they instead can stick to their game plan. Too many games the offense failed instead of putting a team away and put the defense in worse spots than they should have been.
The best run defense is to score so the other team has to pass.
