They are striking while the iron is hot on the vikings. They had a good year last year, until the bitter end. They have a newer stadium that I hear is beautiful. Vikings fans are vikings fans, they don't jump teams. I bet they will travel well.

Vikings are a big unknown with JJ McCarthy.

Only way I can see the schedule release being exciting is if you’re wanting to attend a game.

If you’re already a season ticket holder or you’re from out of town or just prefer to watch the games on tv, this shouldn’t get you excited at all. If it does, then whatever, have fun I guess. But some people treat this like a giant surprise. “WTF why did the NFL give us this hard of a schedule??!!” Uhh… you knew the opponents and the home/away matchups as soon as the season ended, dingus

Hate the stupid Friday night opener too

The Chiefs want to play on Christmas every year.

I also hate Christmas games. Friday night opener I see as kind of a bonus, though. It's a mini-bye tacked onto the beginning of the season that doesn't involve any short rest.

Yea it's really stupid...Christmas isn't Thanksgiving where you just cook and have family come over...Christmas is much time involved honestly and having to be invested in a game that is on when there are 500 things going on is frustrating.
