Is the NCAA trying to get UCLA in the Final Four ? They have gotten alot of breaks and missed calls in the last 3 weeks.

Is it bad officating ? YES !
Do we need more officials on the court ? Maybe, maybe the game is faster than the officials can see it now ?

ArrowheadHawk 03-23-2008 10:06 AM

What a crock. Did UCLA get Duke's refs.

Located in Loudonville NY

They started out as the Golden Warriors. That proved too long for headlines, so soon Siena became the Indians. In March of 1989, they became the Saints.
There was a time, not long ago, when the majority of Siena's student athletes hailed from homes in the Capital Region, and jumping in a van and traveling to Saratoga, Troy, Schenectady and Albany could meet athletic teams' scheduling requirements.
In 1976, however, Siena's athletics program was elevated to NCAA Division I status. With that move, the College committed itself to upgrading its program and making all teams competitive.
After stops in the ECAC Metro and North Atlantic Conference, Siena moved to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in 1990, where it has made its mark.
Since its move to full Division I status, Siena Athletics has continued to grow. Five years ago, the program added women's water polo, giving it seven men's programs and 11 on the women's side. Athletic success has improved thanks to a continued commitment from the College to enhance athletic aid, full-time coaching and facilities.

Vandy shoots a shitload of threes, and they didn't make 'em. Ala Duke'

They went 4-20 for 3 FG. Vanderbilt is one of the best 3 point shooting teams in NCAA

ArrowheadHawk 03-23-2008 10:58 AM

What a great Coke commercial. With the UCLA game winner over Mizzou.

I really don't pay attention to commercials. I zone out and talk on the planet, refill my drink or something else. I just don't like commercials. I have a DVR so the only time I kinda watch commercials is during sporting events.

ArrowheadHawk 03-23-2008 11:04 AM

I think that last play was a clean block. :)

Definitely my favorite piece of equipment in my house. I have one in the living room and one in my bedroom. I just can't trick myself into watching sporting events on it. It's just not the same when it's not live.

It will probably be replaced by that dunk last night with the lights going off.

Lzen 03-23-2008 11:20 AM

Wow, I didn't see the game last night but I already knew of their lucky breaks lately (read refs handing them the games). That pic says it all. Disgusting. That is not basketball. Reminds me of Southern Illinois last year. :shake:

That famous "5th down" would make a good one. Also at Mizzou's expense.

Poor Mizzou.

ArrowheadHawk 03-23-2008 11:35 AM

Siena's defense kinda sucks.

ArrowheadHawk 03-23-2008 11:36 AM

How will KU contain Scotty Renolds? LOL

BWillie 03-23-2008 12:24 PM

Texas looking good. Up 19-8 early on Miami. The U having trouble containing the longhorns guards. I'd love to see the Big 12 represent today and put Texas and OU in the Sweet 16 to make up for TURG gettin' jobbed.

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 12:42 PM

Butler needs to call timeout and bring in someone who can teach them how to shoot.

Texas thrashing the U.

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 12:47 PM

Butler is the worst team in college basketball.

I'm pretty sure the New Jersey Institute in Technology is the worst team in Division 1, and maybe Division 3 with their nice 0-29 record this year. I'm assuming it had to be their first year. Why is there so many teams in Division 1 basketball anyway? 341 teams is 241 too many

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 01:02 PM

Butler and Miami suck so much butt they're both in danger of a prolapse.

banyon 03-23-2008 01:51 PM

Abrams is a tiny robot.

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 02:18 PM

If Butler had only blown about half as many easy layups, they'd be ahead.

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 02:21 PM

And if Miami hadn't wasted about twenty seconds earlier, this would almost be a game.

The worst team in college BB is within one of Tenn.

Buehler445 03-23-2008 02:33 PM

I can't believe he AIRBALLED IT.

kstater 03-23-2008 02:43 PM

Butler needs to learn how to hit layups.

BWillie 03-23-2008 02:47 PM

Tennessee is making some stupid mistakes down the stretch. All tied up 63-63 with the last possession going to tenn

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 02:48 PM

Wow. Green. Wow.

Also, what is up with Texas, G'Town, and WKU blowing huge leads?

kstater 03-23-2008 02:49 PM

You know the refs weren't calling anything there.

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 02:50 PM

Gluiuiuiurrrrrgh. I guess Green doesn't deserve too much hatred, though, considering how huge he's been for Butler.

BWillie 03-23-2008 02:50 PM

HAHA yes Davidson just took the lead. Mayhem is alive in the Midwest bracket

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 02:53 PM

MAKE YOUR ****ING LAYUPS YOU ASSHOLES

They would have won by like 15 if they could just hit a ****ing layup.

A THREE IS FINE ALSO

eazyb81 03-23-2008 02:54 PM

Stephan Curry is a sick basketball player. How the hell did he get away from the big schools.

alnorth 03-23-2008 02:54 PM

The Midwest region may end up becoming a gift from the heavens for Kansas.

kstater 03-23-2008 02:55 PM

CBS ever heard of a split-screen?

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 02:55 PM

He's your teacher, Matt Striker!

Graves!

eazyb81 03-23-2008 02:55 PM

YES!!! BUTLER WITH THE LEAD

kstater 03-23-2008 02:56 PM

Doh!!

kstater 03-23-2008 02:57 PM

Fire up the bus.

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 02:57 PM

Shiiiiiiiiiiiit.

eazyb81 03-23-2008 02:57 PM

Sigh, Pearl's douchebags are going to pull one out of their ass again.

I hate this year's tournament. My NC is also about to lose.

:cuss:

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 02:58 PM

Hibbert, you worthless turd!

kstater 03-23-2008 02:59 PM

Wow, they might end up blowing them out before it's said and done.

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 02:59 PM

Uggggh. Damnit, Butler. Too bad you didn't just, you know, MAKE SOME ****ING LAYUPS.

eazyb81 03-23-2008 02:59 PM

Tennessee wins and Georgetown loses.

Kill me now.

banyon 03-23-2008 02:59 PM

Davidson up 7

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 03:01 PM

Here's to you, Mike Green. You're Michael Strahan's adorable little guard, and you did well, even if you couldn't actually hit a layup to save your team's ****ing life.

WHY DID YOU ****ERS REFUSE TO HIT LAYUPS? DO YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS?

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 03:03 PM

Boo them mercilessly, Birmingham! Make them weep! Make them wish they'd never won this game.

Oh shit, Georgetown is done. My Midwest bracket asplode.

banyon 03-23-2008 03:03 PM

Time to whup up on Misshippy State.

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 03:06 PM

And here I was thinking, "God, all of these games between now and the start of the Moo State game suuuuuuuck."

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 03:06 PM

Insert obligatory "The banks are open in Raleigh" comment here.

kstater 03-23-2008 03:06 PM

Sweet criminy he made it.

kstater 03-23-2008 03:07 PM

That's a shame.

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 03:07 PM

Don't step off the line, Curry... noooookay, nevermind.

Bye bye to my bracket, but holy shit, Davidson is awesome.

Great call on not recruiting this kid, ACC schools.

chagrin 03-23-2008 03:08 PM

well, there goes my final four, shit

ArrowheadHawk 03-23-2008 03:08 PM

Its official. There will be no KU vs Georgetown Elite 8 Matchup.

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 03:11 PM

What the ****, it's already started?! What happened to continuous coverage, CBS?

They really do. They must do no research on what their audience actually wants to watch. They cut away from the KU vs UNLV game to show some game that the majority of the Kansas City area doesn't give two shits about. Whoever said something about a split screen has a point there. People have 40-60 inch TV's nowadays.

Ultra Peanut 03-23-2008 03:20 PM
