WVU can't seem to get out of its own way.

Just got around recently. Facebook is going crazy with ****faces saying Geno is dogshit. Going on here too? I mean, you obviously have to judge your QBOTF on one game, and only one game. His last game. In the snow, and wind against a team he's consistently struggled with.

Seriously, after that 3rd an 8 QK base run in the first, I kinda lost interest. Did Holgerson do coke before this game? |

um, tell me again why we want Geno Smith?

They havent played in a month and its shitty conditions. I dont know how you evaluate a player off one game.
Chiefs need Luke Juckel though cuz Stanzi and Cousins are the same player. |
Oh, and I AM CHIEF can SUCK ON MY BALLS

Additionally, Horgleson has gone full Daboll today in neglecting his best weapon (Geno) |
Since the most recent bowl game take primacy over any other game in a player's career, it is comforting to know that people here won't be in favor of drafting Manti Te'o after Alabama pushes his shit in.
Right? |
****ing Chiefs fans will find any excuse to not draft a QB.

Because with ALL of these players that aren't worth the "Value"... there are going to be a ton of teams interested in trading up. |

Great, hillbilly dumb****s from all over will try and use this game against him even though from the sounds of it, he played a solid game.

QBs very rarely slide once the season is over unless they get busted for drugs or something. |
Geno ran the ball too much today/Tards
|
I'm not impressed by Gino, I know bad weather whatever, he's Phillip rivers mixed with Tim tebow. He's not the best player on his team, two wrs and a rb are better than Gino!

One game does not make a career. Brady Quinn was AFC player of the week after his career game against Carolina.

That made me laugh hahah. |
Calling a Big East team defense "solid" is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

We're you watching the game on mute by chance? Jesse Palmer talked about it quite a bit. |

With the conditions on the field today, it was not very hard for Syracuse to gameplan. The snow will counteract a downfield passing attack very quick. |

The announcers even said Austin was WVs best player. I want a qb that will make Charles better, not one that isn't the best player on our offense.

Because Nassib, who is a top five QB in most "experts" eyes had such a stellar game in the snow and wind. |

But I'm an asshole like that. :D |
I'd like someone to go back through the years and point out all the great games that QBs have played in the snow and wind.
They are very few and far between. This is why teams that play in the elements try to build a team that can run the ball, and why teams that play in fair weather cities or in domes feel the need to win homefield advantage in the playoffs more than teams that play in the elements. |
The biggest knock on Geno isn't his questionable arm strength but his tendency to go full Cutler with his whining. Every game I've watched him, after a bad play he seems to be crying and unable to forget that bad play. The mental aspect of a QB is extremely important. Their demeanor should be that of a pro golfer. Don't let the other team see you sweat. He can't do that. I think this alone will make it difficult for him to succeed in the NFL.
