Gore is just better than Thompson. He is much harder to bring down than Thompson, and he's just as good, if not better, at everything else.

Cut Burton and make Darrel Williams a FB/RB.

We don't use a FB much anyway.

That lets us keep TE Fortson too.

You basically have 8 roster spots between RB/FB/TE. If you keep 4 RBs you're gonna cut someone everyone thinks made it.

They aren't cutting Blake Bell, carrying 3 Tes who are all receivers and not blockers would be dumb.

Our offense is a single back set type offense anyway.

We run more WR/TE, not fullbacks.

Darrel Williams is a physical guy, he can run the few FB plays we use.

Hard decisions have to be made friend no matter who you cut.

Unless they cut McKinnon cause he's injury prone but they were working him on specials which is usually a sign you made it.

He was probably getting cut anyway, it becomes way more convaluted when people want to keep 4 TEs.

Fortson isn’t getting cut. He’s our second best Recieving TE and plays special teams as well. Darwin is toast

We could always use a backup Center or Guard as our blocking TE. Schottenheimer used to do it all the time.

I would say Burton- but the reports from camp are that he is a devastating blocker, plus Andy loves him some Full Backs.

I doubt Gray would make it to the practice squad and Fortson is a lock.

So that leaves McKinnon and Williams. I don't think Williams is that special, but he is a bigger back and we will need him for short yardage.

Mckinnon has an injury history- so I think he is the odd man out. He should clear waivers and we can keep him on speed dial.

Gore won't make it to the practice squad- he has put up too good of highlights.

Why does anyone talk about this? He's spent 98% of his time here on the PS, he literally has only ever been on the main roster after injuries.

I don't like Wylie, but they ain't cutting him. He is versatile and knows the offense.

LDT and Blythe are still hurt. They will have to make the cutdown before they can be put on the IR, if that is the route they take for those two.

Only if you want them to come back...I don't even think LDT is making the team.
