Whoever gets hot wins. Thats how it works.

If it worked any other way Syracuse would have gotten anally raped by KU years ago.

Pepe Silvia 03-31-2025 11:55 AM

I was pretty drunk last night, I worded it wrong. Basically what I was trying to say is that the top dogs and blue bloods will still win the championships, the NIL won't change it. The last 3 College Football champs in the NIL era? Georgia,Michigan, and Ohio State. The big dogs will always eat regardless of the system.

It just doesn't work that way, I wish it did.

Can anyone confirm ALL of Indiana players entered the portal?

May be q

I think KU has more coaches than players left.

Mccollum better be on the phone to the people that fit in his system

Go NWMO3

I thought that ight bet a response!:D

Because now it is standard practice and expected. Before, it was suspected, but not universal or out in the open.

But the main issue is the transfer proliferation. I think back about how fun it was to watch a player progress through the years on your team.

It's ruined now, no going back.

Heading to San Antinio for the Final 4.
GO COOGS!

WilliamTheIrish 04-05-2025 03:44 PM

FF about 30 minutes from the tip off of game 1

Pepe Silvia 04-05-2025 03:56 PM

Almost game time. Auburn/Duke for the title.

neech 04-05-2025 05:51 PM

Which team are we supposed to root for right now?

Pepe Silvia 04-05-2025 06:00 PM

Auburn had an 8 point lead at the half but choked it away and now Florida is in control.

PHOG 04-05-2025 06:20 PM

I just tuned in, and that ref down on the Auburn end of the court made 3 terrible calls in a row against Florida. Money on Auburn perhaps? :hmmm:

Glad I'm not the only one seeing this. Broome has been allowed to hack the Florida big on the catch away from the basket all night too.

Pepe Silvia 04-05-2025 06:32 PM

Florida has too many scorers, nobody can keep a lead on them.

Garcia Bronco 04-05-2025 06:33 PM

These jackass refs are doing everything they can to keep Auburn in this game.

neech 04-05-2025 06:33 PM

It’s over.

PHOG 04-05-2025 06:35 PM

I suppose they could just tackle each other, would it really be any different?

It's really all about Clayton though. He can just create his own shot at any time. Any time they have really needed a bucket in the tourney, he's knocked it down.

neech 04-05-2025 06:39 PM

That’s five on condom.

Garcia Bronco 04-05-2025 06:40 PM

That was all ball and another b******* f****** college referee call.

Pepe Silvia 04-05-2025 06:47 PM

Seems like destiny for Florida. Only Duke has a chance.

PHOG 04-05-2025 06:47 PM

No matter how hard the refs tried, Florida still wins.

KC_Connection 04-05-2025 06:57 PM

Houston and Florida, called it from day one.

Its gonna take a hell of an effort from Houston to beat this Duke team. They can, and I hope they do. But I'd be surprised.

Then You’d better hope a veteran Houston team stops being intimidated by Duke. Houston is playing awful basketball. This is gonna be over by half at this rate.

Does Houston practice offense?

Why Not? 04-05-2025 08:06 PM

I mean Houston is garbage when they have the ball

Pablo 04-05-2025 08:08 PM

Goddamn atrocious offensive effort.

If Houston has a little pride they'll take a decent shot here.

Why Not? 04-05-2025 08:10 PM

This is basically over. Houston doesn’t have the goose to come back double digits vs this Duke team. This is probably the ceiling for Houston. You’re not winning a title with no offense.

George Liquor 04-05-2025 08:13 PM

So, anyone care to remind me on how KU beat this duke team?

Duke sort of choked honestly. KJ of all people shut down Flagg, which is absurd too.

Sigh. What’s it gonna be, 6 titles for Duke now? Or have they won before Coach K?

They went to a Final Four before him but they didn't win it all.

I thought they might have a letdown going into the tournament somewhere but nobody can even keep a game close against them. Just no weaknesses at all and the talent is overwhelming.

Duke is just so solid

Well they're paid players and can leave any other team at any time almost. I don't know if it's the best team I've ever seen I'm just not surprised if it is.

Cooper Flagg is Larry Bird 2025

He’s not going to be denied. Duke cyborg team is just churning through everyone

Yeah but it’s like three top 8 2025 picks on the same team, all freshmen

How often has that ever happened before? Has it ever?

Pepe Silvia 04-05-2025 09:06 PM

Like I said a few weeks ago, Houston didn't have the offense to win it all.

Best college prospect I’ve seen since AD. And a white American NBA superstar is something that league honestly hasn’t had since Bird. He’s gonna be huge next year.

You got two on Rutgers this year and that’s hard enough to do. But I can’t place anything better than this recently or in my lifetime

I asked Google AI and these were the examples they gave (notice including Durant as a KU player, indicating that Aldrich was drafted in 2007 and including MKG twice LMAO):

2007: The University of Kansas had three players drafted: Mario Chalmers (1st round, 23rd pick), Cole Aldrich (2nd round, 49th pick), and Kevin Durant (1st round, 2nd pick).

2011: The University of North Carolina had three players drafted: Tyler Zeller (1st round, 50th pick), Kendall Marshall (1st round, 13th pick), and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (1st round, 2nd pick).
2012: The University of Kentucky had three players drafted: Anthony Davis (1st round, 1st pick), Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (1st round, 2nd pick), and Terrence Jones (1st round, 16th pick).
2013: The University of Duke had three players drafted: Jabari Parker (1st round, 2nd pick), Kyle Singler (1st round, 21st pick), and Tony Snell (1st round, 18th pick).

Closest unsurprisingly is the AD Kentucky team. They felt a little similar to this.

Hucking the ball up from the logo all the time doesn't make somebody a generational talent.
