3000m row tonight. 13:00.5

I hate it when I'm so close to being under a minute mark. Seeing as how I was shooting for under 14:00.0, I'll take it. About 4:20.1 per 1000m whenever I can do a 1000m row in under 4:00.0 now, but hey, I just did three of those without stopping! :)

I've always wanted to do a strict standing military press of my bodyweight. I got within 5lbs once and haven't been back up there again because of this trap pain. I think that's a cool goal though to shoot for. Nice weight you are moving.

Oh, and did I mention this was after doing leg day in the weight room? I'm hoping I'm able to walk tomorrow! Tomorrow is back and core. But then treadmill intervals and pushing the prowler (just sprinting 6 times back and forth with no weights added).

The worst part of leg day isn't the workout itself or climbing the stairs to my third floor apartment when I get home. The true test will be when I go to walk down the stairs in the morning...lol.

Nice!

My 1RM is significantly lower than that at 185 :( I'll never get 225. EVER.

We went down this road already. How do you 'know' someone is juicing? Because they are gigantic & bloated like a IFBB pro bodybuilder? The drug you take along with your diet & training will dictate how gigantic or bloated you get. Elite CF athletes use the same drug schedule as college/pro football players, along with wrestlers and anyone else who wants performance enhancement without all the extra weight and water associated with high aromatization. If your genuinely curious look up Anavar and Testosterone Propionate. Both are highly anabolic compounds with extremely little water retention. They also have pretty low half-lives which makes it appealing in the fact thats its in & out of your system fast (drug test, anyone?). Drugs of choice for any performance athlete.

Good point, I honestly don't know all the different kinds and what they do. I do know several guys that have done or currently do use, most of them look bloated and have acne.

No, I do believe most athletes are using something. Just don't think a lot of the CF guys that I know are. Some are really strong on certain things, but not crazy over all. I just attribute it to their working out a lot and comparing them to me.

I can tell you that my son at 17 was strong than most of them in a lot of lifts and I know he wasn't doing anything. He wasn't as physically fit in the WODs, but was super strong. A week after he turned 17 his maxes were: 425 squat, 500 DL, 300 clean and 300 bench, so I guess most people thought he was on something!

I never said i cared who's juicing and who's not, I honestly don't hold it against anyone. I'd do it if there weren't side effects and long term health problems. It makes sports better and doesn't affect me.

He timed about a 4.29 in the 40, right?

Got a baby's arm holding an apple connected to his crotch, by chance?

I know a few people who use treadmills for speed intervals that could put you to waste in the "in shape" department.

One of them is a woman who is doing an Ironman in a few months, not her first.

Sure, but that is the exception and not the rule. And I'll bet these people spend a small percentage of their total workout time on the treadmill. (Im ignoring the fact that you are making a wild assumption about how "in shape" I am)
