Your opinions have nothing to do with reality either but we still let you have them.

So was last offseason still the best offseason ever like you claimed?

Or will it be this one?

Or...I don't know...I have to think of option C.

Hope this is bullshit.

Good let them sign him. A young guy with a bad back?

He has talent, but he also has a lengthy injury history and a questionable work ethic.

If Gaither was worth a shit, wouldn't Baltimore hang on to him? They don't let quality players go.

it has very little to do with money.

His back is toast and some have said he will never get back to the level he was.

The fact that he is talking to Al Davis is a damn good sign for us.

I bet those dumb****s release three players to make room for Gaither, 3 decent players...and sign him to "stanford routt" type fools deal.

Yes, it's cash and cap.

I don't see how in the hell they spent that much, but I guess by extending Jamaal and DJ, that number grew.

Listen up!

In contracts last year, we spent just under 86 million.

When we signed Jamaal Charles to his extension, it came with 10 million guaranteed.

DJs contract came with 15 million guaranteed.

If Pioli isn't straight up lying (which I highly doubt he is) about that 110 number....ALL of that guaranteed money was given to them last year!

Guys, we have a SHITTON of cash to spend if Pioli isnt blowing smoke with that 110 figure.

close to 30 million would be my guess

Not a fan of him being in the division.

Takeo Spikes is 34 and on his fifth team. He's just a guy at this point.

Thigpen is headed to Buffalo.

OTW, I would think a front office hoping to have any success in FA, would delegate responsability. Puppies, Haley, Donavan work the phone on the vg fish while other guys like Siriani, scouting dept. guys etc. try to work deals with tier 2 and 3 guys, running offers, counter-offers, and leveraged items past the big 3. Kind of like things work at a car dealership.

aturnis 07-27-2011 02:43 AM

Also, I'm less concerned with the guys you hear rumors of us being interested in(Moss, Breaston, blah blah) and more conferees about the guys we would logically be interested in, are the right blend of "professional"/leader/producer, and you haven't heard a peep out of. IE McClain, Lance Moore.

Either they intend to sign with their current team, or are negotiating with teams who like to keep it quite. Hope it's the latter, and that team is the Chiefs.
