I can't remember what season, or the exact time it happened, but didn't one of the bortherhood without banners say when he brings someone back to life it takes something from him? Wouldn't bringing Snow back to life take a toll on the red witch, possibly causing her to age?

I don't think it took anything out of the person doing it, just the person it was done to. I could be wrong though.

Davos' line about knowing what Melisandre can do, their desire for her help, and quickly followed by her old lady body reveal, is a **** ton of foreshadowing that she will in fact resurrect Jon Snow imo.

The producers took liberty during the final minutes to illustrate to us just how powerful she is.

Nudity at the end was pretty hot......

The dogs running off after the battle begins is believable. At the end of the day, do we really care to see dogs getting stabbed? Is that relevant to the story at all, or even necessary to see? Does stabbing dogs make for good television or is it required to progress the story?

The concern over the missing dogs is just nerds nitpicking the shit out of the show. It's silly. Who ****ing cares about the dogs.

These were dogs use to eating humans. They were a legitimate threat to kill them. They attack Brien 4 at a time, she's dinner. It's a harsh land and time. You can show a little girl being burned alive but not human flesh eating dogs getting stabbed?

I think as soon as I saw season 1 with the whole Lady death, horses getting sacrificed for blood magic, and a horse getting it's head cleaved off by the Mountain, I presumed the worst for all animals on the show.

Little girl being burned alive was relevant to the story. My point isn't about brutality, but whether or not seeing the dogs get chopped up (or not) matters.

Taking a moment just to stab some dogs probably didn't flow well or make for a great action scene. For the sake of a coherent battle, the editors likely left out what you can leave to your imagination. I fail to see why the dogs matter here.

I think in the books Berric Dondarion, the guy who's been resurrected so many times, sacrifices his life to bring back Lady Stoneheart, iirc. I would assume Melisandre will do the same to bring Jon back, believing that he is Azor Ahai, the prophecy from the flames.

Speaking of dogs: no mention of Ramsay's dog moment. So classic:

He's like sincerely grieving over his "partner's" corpse. Then says, "No. That's good meat. Feed her to the dogs."

Dude is legitimately the most sadistic character I can remember seeing onscreen
