No numbers in yet for Chase but i'd expect them to gain a decent amount of cap space, compared to what the APY says...which you all think is the number used. Freakin' dorks.

Other WRs will sign contracts in the meantime, while the cap goes up and both Tee and Chase #s will look better as time goes on.

Story time.

At work a couple weeks ago, my boss who goes to the gym in the morning before work, related a story about how he was showering when some guy kind of poked his head in, thinking that stall was empty. He was like "wtf" and i told him, "you gotta watch out for the meatpeekers". Everyone thought that was hilarious and they've been going around since then using that term whenever it applies.

If they only knew...

It's not about the contracts they signed. It's the fact that you guys signed BOTH of them.

It is 100% about the contracts because if you're going to sign 2 WRs to that money, you better make sure it doesn't hurt you bad in other areas.

I tried some cat food by accident as a kid. Thought it was tuna. Never will forget the taste. It was not delicious. Bitter and nasty aren't strong enough to describe it. Same grandparents always had nuts out; one time I grabbed what I thought was a macadamia nut from a tin, it was an uncooked chick pea. My first broken tooth.

Here's the other thing. The way they advertise/package the cat food? There's a Sunday dinner roasted chicken covered in gravy on the package and they call the flavor something like "Country Style Chicken Cuts in Gravy" or whatever. Don't tell me that shit doesn't sound good.

If I'm ever homeless and can get a can of that shit for a dollar, yeah I'll dig into that.

The Bengals have bungled negotiations (shocker!) but that guy needs to change his tampons. The franchise isn't losing fans over this. If those folks survived the 1990s, they aren't leaving while Burrow still plays.

Al Davis and Paul Brown's wives must have cheated on them. It is the only explanation for Mark and Mike.

There's no context to it at all. You're just showing where it talks about the possibilty of "moving".

Part of that possibility is just moving counties, not to another city, as if they're saying do it our way or we're gone.

rfaulk34 04-03-2025 02:19 PM

All this brings up the obvious question, posed to Blackburn: If a deal can’t be reached with the county, is there a possibility the team would be open to moving to another county in Ohio or Kentucky?

“We love where we are,” Blackburn said. “I’m a big proponent of being downtown. I think that’s a great thing for the city. I think the location of the stadium right now is good. I think our stadium, obviously, needs to continue to be maintained appropriately, and you want to keep it at a certain level. That’s important just so that we’re competitive with others.”

I'd rather take a risk on a guy like Stewart where the college production is lacking compared to his athleticism and frame/tools. Dontari Poe was in the same boat as this guy (different position, but still) and he was a fine player.

College production is for losers.

"let's get some sacks this year"

what he meant was "this defense better not be ****ing shit this year or i'm demanding a trade"

Hey, this is a thread where we make fun of the Bengals.

C'mon and pile on.

Truth is no matter how much we argue with each other none of us are Bangles fans and that is something to be grateful for.

Nobody got it better than us right now...

Eh, even if Stewart is good the Bengals are just gonna royally piss him off in contract negotiations and make him leave anyway.

Who's the Ewok that he shakes hands with after the first guy? Is that their new draft pick?

notorious 04-25-2025 05:14 PM

Joe must have had to take a shit. LMAO

wazu 04-25-2025 05:16 PM

Need to find a clip of how pissed that player was last night when the Bengals drafted him. Most awkward interview of the night by a mile.

Usually he saves that for the postseason.

That certainly explains a lot

Boy you could really see this this weekend. Oof.

They got their Kingsley in rd 1. All “potential” looking good in underwear but not producing on the field despite playing with Shemar Turner, Walter Nolen and Nic Scourton the last 2 years. Also the missed tackle eye popping stat was insane. There’s a reason many of us have not liked this kid for several weeks.

Taking him over Harmon or even Pearce was really stupid.

They also didn’t draft a single DT or DB. They took multiple G’s and LB’s. It’s as if they didn’t watch their shit secondary get torched every single week.

This team isn’t sniffing the playoffs. Not in that division. I’d be surprised if they got back.
