My biggest concern is they got to see Young in game 1. Part of his effectiveness is that hitters can't process him for the first 4-5 innings, his size and delivery are so tough.

Have Herrera pitch the first inning and throw only 100 MPH fastballs. Then just bring Young in for the 2nd and...

I still don't think people are thinking 4th dimensionally in these situations. Okay you burn Herrera in the 6th inning. Who pitches the 7th? The 8th? Morales was probably going to pitch tonight at some point. We are going to have to play two more games after tonight without a break. You can't burn up Herrera and Davis too much tonight.

They were only down by 2 when Morales came in. If any combination of Hochevar/Medlen/Madson pitches the 6th-7th inning, there's a decent chance to get back in the game and use Herrera/Davis for the 8th-9th. I'm not saying they should have used Herrera or Davis that early.
