Its great when a roookie comes up and tears shit up. I went through that last year with Puig (hell, he's still doing it). So much fun to enjoy. |

BTW, you guys see the rumors on Twitter about Minnesota being interested in Jay? What they hell is he worth? For me, I don't care if they get a "A" prospect for Jay. They can throw in Robinson too. Give them fresh starts. They and the Cardinals need to move on. We need to give Grichuk the job. If he can't do it give it to Bourjas. They both suck, take the defensive hit and put Taveras over there. As long as Jay is in the locker room, he will take AB's away from our future position players. |
I'll take a bat weight for Jay.

Well, i just know before puig was called up the Dodgers were like 10 games out of first and went on 42-8 run. Hanley was a big part of that as well. All i know is i enjoyed the hell out of it. The run anyways. lol Is your guy still tearing it up? |
Jay has a higher batting average then everyone on the Cards except for Molina and Adams.
I am not a Jay fan but to say he has been horrible this year is not fair. |

You watch that game 2 days ago. 2nd inning. Ball hit hard to RF. Jay is about 50 ft behind Wong. One of the slowest players in the league is on 2nd base. He couldn't even make a throw to home plate. Weakest shit arm I've ever seen on a MLB OF. We know who Jay is and what he can do. You really want to keep him? |

Well no shit you would settle for less than an A prospect for Jay ROFL if we know he is awful what do you think the advance scouts from other teams think?

I watched a post game interview with Taveras. I thought he couldn't speak English very well, that he needed a translator?
He seemed to understand and speak English just fine. Maybe I was confused? |
He was perfectly understandable. I love Dominican accents though.
Regarding Fruit Ninja and Wacha: He's striking out more than a batter an inning, carrying a legit ERA in the mid-2's (no real batted ball luck), and keeping his walk rate respectable while still learning a curve. We got really lucky with him. Regarding Jay: he's on a nice little streak right now, which means his value will never be higher. His arm isn't good enough to play in a COF spot, nor is his bat (he registers as a league average hitter even when avoiding lefties), he's slow as shit, and he's a bad defensive centerfielder. If you can trade him for a legit bench bat that can hit LHP, do it. |
Lynn getting his shit pushed in. Must be June already.
