well I'll be God damned. I got a refund for that Elite scam. I got my 4000 ms points back, I'm happy with that.

ok what happened? elite scam? Just elite itself is a scam because they are charging $50 or you found a deal to acquire elite for 4000 points which was an actual scam?

on release day, I bought the Elite service for 4000 ms points or $50. Since then, Elite has held no value to me and will never hold any value, which makes Elite itself a scam. The early map packs do me no good if I can't play the game online (lag compensation). I politely called xbox support and told them how I felt and explained that the elite service does not hold any value and they refunded my ms points today. I didn't get the $50 put back in my bank account, but I'll use the ms points, so I'm happy and more importantly I got the money back from the scammers and I hope more can continue to do so.

ok gotcha. I felt them charging $50 was a rip. I was excited for MW3, but not for the content you have to pay to get. I was contemplating getting elite, but I play Battlefield 3 a lot more so I decided not to now I'm glad I didn't.

i am happy with elite because I got it for ten bucks.. Honestly besides the free maps it will be worthless. What they should do is give free double xp or double weapon xp weekends..

What do you get for it? It never seemed like you get much of anything for it to me.

the only thing it is really for at this point if you paid full price is saving 10bucks if you planned on buying the map packs, suppose to be four at 15 each..

The stat tracking is worthless, and I am not sure if they started tourneys yet..
