Thanks for reporting these issues. I'll look into them.

Chris Johnson played for 2 teams; Portland and Clearwater.

He got traded from Portland to Clearwater the night before, so it's probably a glitch that will clear itself up but figured I'd point it out (before I have to play Portland on Wed...)

Zeke, I don't remember entering stats for Matt Dodge. I'll fix that.

I will probably try to implement some defensive stats such as tackles, pressures and passes defended at some point. Assigning tackles will require some research to develop a sound model. It's a high priority, but not a simple task.

Rest assured that the quality of your defenders makes a difference on the outcome of every play.

Duluth gives the game ball to TE Greg Olsen, whose 7 receptions for 84 yards and a TD were critical to the Pillagers' narrow victory.

Passes defended and tackles at the very least... I mean, for a team like mine that sucks offensively, but is built on defense completely... it takes the fun out of it to not even see what is happening on that side of the ball.

Are we not allowed to trade right now? I get this message when I click on "propose trade":

Trades are currently not allowed.

Messages are currently not allowed.

No drafts are happening now.

Help? There is no stinking help.

I'm assuming it's an error since the same thing happens when you click on "messages".

Richmond might have the worst CBs in Sandbox. 33-year old Sheldon Brown is their top CB.

We shall see this week vs the potheads

I had a bid on a free agent that apparently got nixed by the "freeze".. I lose that money still? Also, have a trade worked out to send a player to another team (that waited until Free Agency was over)... now we are unable to complete the trade...

Lastly, Free Agency should still be open. that way people can cut\sign players during the season due to injuries or players being unavailable. But no waiting time. If a player is a Free Agent, he should simply sign for any offer given at that point.

CD did announce a roster freeze as of the first game played.

The FA thing is odd; I would think he would've accelerated those players onto rosters, but the trade/FA pickup lockout was expected.

Sorry to be demanding, but another interesting wrinkle would be a pre-snap 'read'.

In other words, the play would start by saying what formation it's run out of. I'm curious to see if CJ can run from a 4-wide (really, he should be able to; he's a perfect fit for picking on a Dime defense). That said, I'll have no way of knowing if/when it's successful and if it's working or not.

This would be extremely beneficial for "scouting" and game preparation.

I guess I made a bad assumption that the freeze was more related to FA. I couldn't remember how it was when we played the 2011 season, but I assumed there would be a mid-season trade deadline.

Game ball goes to Robbie Gould. 3/3 including a 46 yarder and the game winning 53 yarder with 12 seconds left. COOOOOLD BLOOOOODED.

Yeah it would have been nice if Lardarius Webb, Micheal Spurlock, Deji Karim, Travis Benjamin or Ras-I Dowling could have returned kicks or punts.

I have literally a half dozen KR/PR on my team.

I need this explained.

I mean, I understand we're testing and all, but to not have the option to select those guys - AND THEN - to lose a game by 3, mainly because of my KR/PR performance?

Some of those guys are on the roster just to keep Street FAs from handling that stuff.

That will upset anyone who puts any time or effort in the game.

*This is not specific bitching, just giving feedback on frustration caused by certain elements of the gameplay. ( It was stated that the programming chooses the best KR/PR on your roster, but did not in this case.)

Special teams, baby.

54.75 out of Scifres and it could've been better but for two punts that went less than 40 to keep them from being touchbacks.

Here's the most amazing part - zero return yards given up to Josh Cribbs. He had punts of 67 and 54 yards fair caught by Cribbs and 62, 55 and 74 downed with no return. He had one touchback on the day.

On balance, subtracting the 20 yards for the TB, Scifres gave me a 52.25 net average on 8 punts. There's my game ball right there. In a game where my offense did precisely jack shit and my defense had to intercept a ball in the end zone with 2+ minutes left and Wichita at our 10 yard line to seal the win, the 10 extra yards/punt Scifres got me over a normal punter yesterday is the reason I won that game.
