Have people not seen his track history? Dude makes Terrell Owens look like the consummate teammate.

I ABSOLUTELY would have taken TO in his SB year with the Eagles.

Not to say RI is the same situation, but TO straight BALLED for them coming off a broken leg.

He put on every bit the performance Bowe did this last playoff game, not that it was enough in either case, but still.

I was researching the guy the other day, and while I couldn't find anything definitive for 2013, I DID find some game by game reviews for him on PFF for 2012, most of which were glowing.

In a game against the Jets for instance, I got this among others... "he drove the redoubtable Mike DeVito 4 yards off the ball for a huge NY gain"... minutes later in the game... "he pulls right and absolutely decleats (some jet I cant recall) for another huge gain.

Same game final review, more or less word for word... "he was a brutal mauler in the run and absolutely perfect all game in pass pro".

I forgave Vick and many others over the years... yeah, I could forgive this guy, especially if we bring him here to whip some ass for KC.

The only thing abnormal here is that an NFL locker room got a rare exposure for its sophomoric views and he man culture... to think its WAY different in 90% of the league is probably being naïve.

This dude will start in 2014, don't kid yourselves, he's too talented at what he does... and frankly, I wouldn't mind if he started here.

Not really. He's average at best and isn't worth the trouble at all.

I guarantee he won't start next year.

I agree with you. I'd rather have TO than Richie any day of the week. At least TO is one of the greatest players of all time at his position, and at least when TO stays out of trouble legally. Richie is an average guard who gets in trouble on the field and gets in trouble with the law.

I wouldn't take him if literally all our guards got injured first day of camp.

That said, Miami needed some 'average guards' after RI and JM left. I watched a couple of their games after that scandal and genuinely feared for Tannehill's life. It was like the D-line was running at him en masse with nothing at all between him and them. Tannehill looking at Cassel's situation with us, was like Oliver! looking at some kid eating soup and salad for lunch at The Olive Garden.

For KC, no, he probably isn't worth the distraction... but he's a top guard like it or not.

Physical in the run and solid against the pass rush... someone gonna sign him to start, bet me on it.

So, you want a dumb ass who gets a 15 yard penalty before setting up a game winning FG? Or a dumb ass that taunts his team's fans? Or a dumb ass that gets 2 unsportsman like conduct penalties in a game?

If you do, Incognito's the guard for you.

See, you're getting into the finer points which is fine, he's liable to do stupid shit like that, unless presumably properly coached... all my posts are really getting at, is that the guy WILL be starting for someone in 2014 because of ability, not because he's some admirable locker room presence.

Matter of fact, wanna know who will have him in a heartbeat?... that's right, Jeff Fishers Rams will... they'll try to minimize his problems through coaching while maximizing that mean attitude during play.

THAT is a Fisher player, he'll hope to control the BS... the more I think about this scenario, the more I wish you'd bet me on it.

In what way is he a top guard? He's had ONE really good year in his career. Otherwise he's been average at best.

The dude planned it that way and I thought he was, and still is, a big pussy for his role in how it all went down.

Oh - FWIW, I agree with your take on Incognito.

Bottom line is nobody is ever going to know what really happened as to the intent of it all...

No worries the media will be along shortly to let you know what black vs white propaganda you will be outraged about next.

Sorry but it's hard not to be cynical at this point.

Both of which are wrong. However, IF Incognito were black do you think this would be a national story/issue ?? NOPE !! It would be just 1 black guy giving another black guy the "bro business" end of story !! But because Incognito has a dirty rep on the field already with many fines and off the field issues and he is white this is nothing short of red filet mignon for not only the nat'l sports media but even bigger for the majority Marxist Media.

That isn't remotely what I suggested.

I pointed out his whiteness, because there was a significant amount of hubub made about the racial overtones of this "bullying". I'm finding irony in the
fact that 2 out of the 3 named abusers were also black.

Incognito is obviously a meat head. Martin is likely a pussy, who participated the process.

Who was the one who was most well-known for this kind of shit going back to college? Who is the one who has a history of incidents with teammates both on and off field, and of harassment of individuals at team functions?

How does Pouncey or Jerry's involvement somehow eliminate the possibility of a racial element?

I'm sure they just picked out Incognito because he's the white guy.

Look, you're probably trying to paint me into a corner to suit your own ends, but the fact is, he's known around the league as a very capable guard, not only capable but he brings that nasty attitude you want on the field...and that attitude you don't always want... either.

But if you want to try and paint me into some corner that's fine, bet me this guy wont start somewhere next year, or at the very least vie to start because of ability.

Here are several games broken down by by PFF, no they aren't THE authority, but a pretty solid gauge for the rest of the league I'm sure...

Once again, that's his ONE good season. I already posted his stats which show penalties committed and sacks allowed. He's nothing special. To compare, Asamoah allowed 2 sacks in 2011 and 3 in 2012. They're in the same league.

And no, PFF (aka, Jamaal Charles wasn't a top 100 player in 2012) rankings don't and never will mean anything to me.

I don't doubt your stats about bullheaded nonsense for a minute, nonetheless... watch him start somewhere next year.

The aggression that draws those flags is the same aggression someone will want to try and harness... it'll probably be Jeff Fisher.
