Cowher is being talked about in a ton of circles as a viable coaching option. The only reason we think our sad sack of a franchise actually has a chance at him is because of his history with KC. We're not getting Gruden or Kelly, we're probably not going to get Reid. Those guys aren't coming here with this place in tatters. If they're going to a shit franchise, they'll at least go to a shit franchise like Philly where they'll spend to win, Dallas where they do appear to be on the cusp of something better or SD...where the weather's nice. If you want a 'name' HC in here, it's going to be because of his connections. Otherwise he's not going to get within smelling distance of Arrowhead. |

Never in position. 31 other teams passed on Brees. We kill Pioli for these types of excuses, and rightfully so. Results or GTFO, right? |

Mannings one of the 5 best QBs in the history of this league and I'd listen to an argument putting him anywhere in there, all the way up to #1. |

Not even close to what Billick did in half the time. http://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/teams/steelers |

Sam Mellinger @mellinger
It's like Clark Hunt broke up with Scott Pioli, but they're gonna try to still be "friends." I expect Clark's new girl to stomp that out. |
If Soren is right on his sources, Cowher's not interested.

I think that's actually a 180 from what Clark has said at this point. He wants both to be able to make input on decisions Posted via Mobile Device |
Petro is saying Cowher isn't interested?

This has been the finest non-Geno football conversation I've seen since last year's draft.
Really enjoyed reading this one. |
Clark has, IMO, painted himself in somewhat of a corner. He wants this big HC, but what if they won't come here?
