They are both player opt outs. At this rate, he wont be using either of them.
I fully expect different mechanics at the plate next year. The Cubs have too much invested in him and it will be the first time he'll get to work with someone during the offseason since the Braves broke him. I remain optimistic about him, because we are all witnessing what the Cubs can do with a hitter that puts in the effort to be better with Rizzo and Baez. Everything you read about Heyward is that hes not lazy, whether or not he's willing to make changes with his swing remains to be seen.
