ChiefsPlanet - Chiefs Raiders Trade for Carson Palmer

They are going to be trotting Carson Palmer out there without the luxury of a training camp or off-season to get on the same page as his receivers.

By Week 12, they are going to be 3 games behind SD.

They are one game out now. I would expect more of a gap by week 12.

I can't wait to see this game. I am more anxious about this game than any other this year.

After the drubbing by the Bills and Oakland..... then the loss against the Bolts....

It took more than a win to get me optimistic. Not about winning the West, but just winning a game....period.

It isn't just about whether the Chiefs can win this week, it is about who is starting for the Raiders and whether Boller or Palmer can lead the team.

I am glad the Raiders made this trade during this week. It gives this week so much more interest.

If it were just Boller, then the Chiefs may win, but it wouldn't be near this interesting.

Why? They aren't getting pre-injury Palmer. They are getting Carson Cassel.
