Also: If it IS Manaea, Finnegan, Lamb going to Cincinnati (listed in order of value), my reaction would be:

1) Just for Cueto - ouch, that's a steep price, but going for it is fine with me.

2) For Cueto + Marlon Byrd - this price is acceptable and could help KC with its problems with LH pitching.

3) For Cueto + Jay Bruce - this is a favorable price for KC. Bruce doesn't help vs. lefties, but he helps the KC OF, provides Gordon insurance, and is cheap and controlled each of the next two years.

Like Duncan said, the only time Manaea's name came up from someone I trust was Olney guessing that he might have been the injury risk guy that killed the deal last night.

Yeah, if it's the three lefties I hope we got something else in addition to Cueto. But we'll see. Can't imagine it'd take that much, especially with Hamels still out there.

Trade will get officially announced once Ventura leaves today's game and he'll get optioned in order to add Cueto. Just a guess.
