I thought we had a better chance at Thor than the lefty. We hit him well until we lost the momentum and started trying to hit 3 run homers with nobody on base. Of course the change in our approach/momentum/Thors pitch count as a result of that had no effect on the game......

If we are up 3-1 at the end of 3/4 Thor is out by the end of 5 and we win the game. Ventura sucked balls and we got smoked.

You can call it whatever you want, but at some point due to our competitive/human nature our approach is different based on what the score/situation is. The other teams approach is also different. If we are up 3 runs In the 4th Thor likely continues to press and tries to overpower us. As he was up he settles down, changes his game plan and we continue to press.

I would call what you're describing "baseball"

This would be true if the game was played by machines, as it is humans play this game and emotion/momentum is definitely a factor. You can argue how big of a factor it plays, but to deny it is worse than the sequel to True Detective.
