I actually ran into a 49ers fan who agreed with everything we're saying. He asked me if I wanted Alex Smith. I jokingly asked him if Jim Harbaugh came with him.....and he laughed and said no. He wanted to know who I wanted at #1 and I told him Geno Smith. He said in his opinion.....he'll have a better overall career than RGIII.

You're better than this, Frank.

No, I'm not.

But saying the majority are afraid to draft a QB 1 overall is not true at all.

The point isn't about teams . Its about two different opinions and that hearing one more than another on the radio isn't evidence of an actual majority. Now I should point out it doesn't disprove your theory of how many like the joeckel option. I don't have enough connection with the fan base to know. I'm just pointing out that I don't think u can use callers on radio as a poll.

Most of our fanbase isn't even able to argue beyond 5 names come draft day...

Better CAREER dipshit.

He doesn't think that he'll stay healthy every season.

Is he worried about Kappy's health over the course of his career?

And yes, I understand that RGIII and Kappy have completely different builds.

He's worried a little bit. He was talking more about RG3's size and the fact that he's reckless when he runs a lot of the time. He said that he gives him credit for not running out of bounds all the time or sliding 5 yards before a defender gets close to him....but being so reckless is going to shorten his career.

Arizona Cardinals GM Steve Keim believes it is "a little bit of a cop-out" to say the 2013 QB class is thin.

"Everybody likes to say it’s not as deep at certain positions, but I think if you have confidence in your system, you’re always able to find certain players at certain points in the draft who are value picks," Keim says. The Cardinals hold the seventh pick in the draft and might be considering one of the top quarterback names in this class.

O.city 02-04-2013 12:16 PM

Yeah, Cardinals are taking a QB.

RealSNR 02-04-2013 12:19 PM

You hear that, tradedown tards? Cardinals want a QB. So do the Bills.

The QBs will be gone if you don't wise up. There's no such thing as appropriate "value" whatever the **** that means when it comes to the QB position. A QB is ALWAYS worth the pick no matter how you feel about him (within reason, that is.)

If you're saying Geno, Wilson, or Barkley are not within reason, you're stupid and can't be helped. Sorry. Go watch Sporting KC or something.

The Franchise 02-04-2013 12:22 PM

The contract alone is why we should take a QB #1 overall.

Contract! True fans love to save money on important solutions. If this doesn't bring them into the fold, nothing will.

The Franchise 02-04-2013 12:26 PM

$22 million over 4-5 years......and the dude can't hold out for a new contract throughout the entire thing.

Pasta Little Brioni 02-04-2013 12:27 PM

Got to get the value. That's all that matters.
