............. his contract would be up, but there’s this thing called the franchise tag.

I'm sure you'll cheer for him if he's the QB next year?

No, I won't watch the Chiefs. I'll take a year off. It is not enjoyable. I have better things to do with my time.

Franchise tag a 35 year old QB not named Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Roethlisberger? Ya ok.

I get that...but franchise tag Alex Smith!? LOL

jd1020 01-07-2018 12:10 AM

Not even ****ing Peyton Manning was tagged and traded but Alex Smith will be.

Some people's children.

EDIT: I forgot Manning was released before he was due a $28M bonus.

Franchise tag for a QB was $21M for QB this year. And you think a team is going to tag and trade Smith when someone wouldnt give Peyton ****ing Manning just $7M more? Get ****ing real.

kcpasco 01-07-2018 12:11 AM

I hope Alex Smith dies from AIDS from losing to Tennessee at home.

Far from obese asshole. I can’t believe this clown is begging for his job back after losing to Mariota at home.

You forgot Kirk Cousins.... well he’s not 35 though but still lol

If he leads whatever team that trades for him to a playoff birth, and a few wins, you don’t think they tag him if they hadn’t already extended him after his first few games?

I don’t know why you are so blind to accepting the fact that it’s very likely that another team will be trading us for Alex Smith. Wether they extend him or let him play out the year on a 1 yeR deal is a different story

Kirk Cousins was 28...

He has potential to be a franchise QB, he just doesn't want Washington to be that franchise. Alex Smith will be 35. Do you not see the ****ing difference?

I edited much, and I think you are just here to argue rather than to discuss.

Only thing we disagree on is that you don’t see Alex being traded, and only see him being released since no gm will pick him up. I call bull shit. If you call bull shit too, then we agree on everything and you can stop arguing with a wall of text.
