I just described their last 5 years worth of material.

You left out Bill Belichick & the Patriots

It hasn't been a decent network since Rich left. It's mostly sports drama. I do not watch it at all outside of actual sporting events.

That didn't take long.

You would have made a great doubles partner in Halo...amazing. If you ever get divorced and need a hobby, the dragon has your back.

Bucklevision (aka: the Longhorn Network) is absolutely killing ESPN. It is a mess.

Onrait and O'Toole, who will be the hosts on Fox Sports 1, are going to be interesting. I personally like them, but some people won't depending on their sense of humor. Fox Sports 1's version of Sportscenter will be similar to the 90's with Olbermann and Patrick, IMO.

So Aaron Sorkin's going to write a dramedy serious loosely based on them?

Huh? It's not even a rounding error on pennies.

TEX 07-12-2013 10:42 AM

ESPN lost me with the stupid ****ing X-Games.

suds79 07-12-2013 10:54 AM

ESPN lost me because times change. It's easy to get direct access to what you're interested in.

Sportscenter is repeated about a 1000 times and they give you a little bit of everything. 98% of which you don't care about.

If I want NFL? I'll just go to the NFL network or I'll occasionally check out NFL live.

If I want NBA? I"ll check out their channel.

Pretty much everything else I couldn't care less about.

Dayze 07-12-2013 10:56 AM

I can honestly say the only time I've watched sportscenter the last 3 or 4 years is for the 30-30 stuff. Otherwise it's cliché schtick, and TMZ; too much for me.

DaKCMan AP 07-12-2013 10:58 AM

SportsCenter has turned to crap. So much of it is "Top-10" this and other non-highlight stuff. It used to be 95% highlights.

Fish 07-12-2013 11:14 AM

This is what happens when their TV contract demands keep increasing, while their actual sports offerings keep decreasing. Nobody wants to watch your stupid ****ing X Games and women's softball when you're forcing cable and satellite companies to raise rates because you're charging so much. **** ESPN.

Garcia Bronco 07-12-2013 11:14 AM

They need to get back to basics.

I suck at video games. I never got into them as a teenager and as an adult, I never had any interest. I'd be the worst Halo partner on the internets.

:D
