Not if he improves and becomes a lottery pick, I think he is more like a second rounder this year.

It is. Randle absolutely abused him for the few minutes he was on him. He's not quick enough.

If the guy could actually play decent defense right now, he would played more than just spot minutes this season especially when you consider how poor the perimeter D was at times.

Selden has the kind of talent to be a top 5 pick next year if he puts it together and there are no guarantees he would have even been in the first round this year. It's a completely sensible decision.

I expect he'll be a very good player next year. It's great news for the program that he's staying around.
