It's too early to tell anything. MU couldn't hit anything from the floor or at the FT line. They may be hot the next game. I do know this....they're going to continue to get beat on the boards against bigger teams than Western Ill, until they get more size. MU has been a horrible rebounding team for a while.

I don't think this team is overrated at all. Those types of games happen. K-State struggled against Presbyterian. It happens.
This team is replacing 5 guys w/ 5 new guys. With MU playing 10 players on a regular basis, its gunna take some time for the rotations & combinations of players to gel, especially offensively. Also, Western Illinois is alot like Nebraska in that they slow the pace of the game down to a halt. We usually struggle w/ those types of teams. They controlled the pace all game, we couldn't hit shots, so we couldn't really set up our press effectively. I think the players were surprised at the pace of the game.
Yes, I can't remember seeing a Mike Anderson MU team struggle w/ a lesser non-con @ home like that, it was a weird game. But we won. And we'll get better. Easily the most talented team MA has had here. Rebounding will always be an issue w/ our style of play.
