It's a fifth round pick. Christ. Who gives a shit. This is the special teams part of the draft. If we get anything out of a choice at this part of the draft, it's a good selection. A kicker stands to have as much or more impact on a week-to-week basis as anybody else we could possibly draft now. I mean, hell, too bad we drafted a kicker instead of, I don't know, our gunner of the future. Maybe we missed out on our 5th string practice squad guard. Dammit Carl.

I think it's better to take flyer on a CB or LB that can block or tackle on kickoffs than waste a draft pick on a position that can be better filled afterwards in UDFA.

You won't get a kicker like Medlock in UDFA.
