I think the new system sucks. You should have to win the SCA to be in the playoffs or at least have a winning record. Back in the day we had to win the SCA to make the playoffs, no matter what class and we were the smallest. BTW I have two friends that coach in the SCA and one used to coach at Willow.

Didn't notice this thread, been bumping the same one for 3 years now for HS football.


We're up 21-10 against our bigest rival just east of us down I 40, and moving the ball down the field again.

Yeah, they are pretty good. If you add their state championships together, they have as many as we do.

LSW beat Truman tonight 38-0 but it was even worse than the score. I bet Truman didn't have 50 yards of positive scrimmage yards against us the whole game(Phobia was there covering the game for his paper so he may have the stats). And thats after about halfway through the 3rd quarter when the starters got pulled.

Totally outclassed. I don't think even our own boys were having any fun laying the wood.

Why does the High School Sports Association set up such a big mismatch? This happen to your team?
