Come on.

We're Chiefs gans.

We don't want a QB that can make those kind of passes.

smittysbar 01-04-2009 01:23 PM

How the **** did Ed get a playoff game?

They don't rank officials on the effects of their calls - only whether they got it right or not. Just because his blunder gained national attention doesn't mean that he's performed poorly overall this season.

You're right, my bad.

I was looking at the wrong line while watching the game.

Apparently multi-tasking isn't my strong suit.

Yes they do. They said within the first five minutes of the game that Hochuli and his crew were the highest rated crew by the NFL this season in spite of his one awful blunder.

I agree with you, mis-read your post.

kcpasco 01-04-2009 01:32 PM

I'd still take the Ravens D over the Steelers D

I think you're agreeing with me here, but I can't tell. I'm just saying that they don't give any more weight to an official's score for a game when a call has a greater impact on the game. They're reviewed on each play as being right or wrong regardless of whether the play was a run up the middle for no gain or a PI call that changes the outcome of the game.
