Evans is probably going to be a Top 5 pick when all is said and done, so I don't think it will end up weighing too heavily on Wall's decision. He's shown remarkable versatility and a ton of valuable traits, both mental and physical, over the course of the season.
Cal is beyond the level of master when it comes to getting guys to buy in. I have zero doubts about his ability to herd cats and get guys to play together. Losing Dorsey, CDR, and Allen yet somehow assembling an even better defensive team the very next season is a ridiculous feat.
The one time it failed was when Banks went back to Jersey over the summer and came back disinterested in school, sharing the spotlight with D-Wash, or doing much of anything other than being a cancer. What did Cal do? He dumped Banks, probably as much as a wake-up call as anything, and got that ****ed-up team a couple of free throws away from the NCAA tournament.

Also I enjoy your opinion in most things so I won't be to harsh but your comments about many miracles to win and Arthur's grade issue earlier in the thread are ridiculous. KU controlled more of the game then Memphis until a bad stretch when Rose turned it on and started the push. Rose's fall away bank shot was tougher and more of a miracle then Chalmers 3 if you just compare the actual shot and not situation(not to mention Mario has hit that shot many times off the exact same set play).

Everything went your way in the last 2:12. It was amazing and miraculous, right up there with Tyree's catch and all kinds of other insane sports moments. That doesn't mean fans of the team that came out on top should feel justified in acting like the smuggest mother****ers on the planet, though.

Finally the whole issue of Arthur's grades is ridiculous to even think KU is at fault considering is it the NCAA's job to clear all student athletes from KU basketball players to girls soccer at some tiny D1 school.

Someone accused Memphis of paying players, so I simply brought up the fact that his own school was on probation and recently relied heavily on a player who never actually graduated from high school.
On a personal level, I wish the Arthur stuff hadn't happened. Best-case scenario is we finished second to "Vacant" instead of a team that was every bit as awe-inspiring as the one I marveled at all season, and that just blows even more.
