I'd be curious if Clayton can tell us if someone from the Redskins Scout board has any info on this.

Not that I know of. But I'm not privy to all this stuff like Nick is.

(post will now draw smileys)

(but realize I am your puppeteer, smiley-posters)

I would totally believe Charles was on the block, whether this particular trade was close to happening is another debate.

And he might be right, but considering the source looking for another source really isn't asking that much.

If everyone was on the block (and we know this), then why is it so hard to assume that our 3rd down back was being shopped for the same price as one of the guys in our DL rotation?

Again, "everyone is on the block" is far from "Charles is being offered for a 5th."

One is a general statement to put the team on notice, the other is a specific transaction.

How many has Albert allowed? Like 10 also, does he suck major balls?

At that time Tyler was playing far more than Charles was.

Your assuming players were put on the block only to be "put on notice", and that the team wasn't serious about moving them for picks.

We know at least one player was dealt, why is it so hard to believe that the team got to the point of discussing compensation for another?

Baseless accusation.

I worked with Athan for 365 days. I say he makes stuff up. He embarrassed me repeatedly during my tenure and then squashed the legitimate information we had because A) it wasn't his story. B) the Chiefs didn't like the tone of the story.

Baseless from Billay? Perhaps.

Baseless from me? Not a chance. Where are the best reporters to ever work for WPI, gochiefs? The Mike & Mike team were the only hope for that organization. Why did they leave?

The information itself is not that hard to believe.

The source it came from, is. But does that really even need to be pointed out...

Why is that relevant?

Albert has improved. O'Callaghan would need Tommy Boy's brake pads to slow down pass rushers.

Look, Nick is selling inside info, if he had something this specific and didnt report it then, why now?

If it had been reported then, this wouldnt be an issue.

I've asked this question before and it hasn't been answered.

What has Scott Pioli done to inspire confidence in his ability to evaluate talent properly?

Again, how often are trades that don't happen reported?

Rarely, if ever - especially getting specific about compensation.

When it does come out, it's usually well after the fact.

Well you keep acting like nobody ever listens to you. We listen to you, you make good points, and we listen to them. Get over it.

I am definitely not Hootie. Hootie is out of control. I know what I'm doing. :D
