I will tell you, the last 3 games the MU team has shown some maturity. Last year and even earlier this year when we would get up by 6 or 8 and under 10 min they woulfd continue rushing the offense. The last 2 and especially tonight they started pulling up and not taking the quick shots they used too and worked some clock. Anderson is a great coach and if this team can continue to improve on their shooting % they are going to make a good run.

When MU is hitting their shots...no one can beat them.:thumb:

It appears that Anderson has a way of getting his teams hitting their peak at the right time.

They were saying during the game that during practice MA has the team run full, all-out scrimages. At the beginning of the season they start at I think they said 2 minutes and if I heard correctly they are currently at 8 minutes. That is some ****ing conditioning. Think about it as most commercial breaks are 4 minutes. That team runs full out scrimmages for 8 minutes. Come game time when they get those 4 minute breaks it is almost a death-nail to the other team. No wonder MU wears teams out.

But they still have to score.

They miss a go-to guy.

That's a curse, but it's also a blessing...

On any given day Bowers, English, Denmon, or whoever... can put up 20 points.

Or if not, four other guys might score 8 each.

I think one of the strengths of this team is that they don't depend on any one player.

They do. But Denmon is starting to become that guy. He is doing it from behind the 3, putting it on the floor and on defense.

True. We aren't tops in the league on assists for nothing. Not having 1 guy you go to all the time helps move the ball around a lot.
