If our running game is as good as most people think it can be, then why be scared of a top 10 rush defense? Well be a top 5 rushing attack!

Run the ball and work in play action! The trick is to mix up the rushing plays, using draws, stretches and tosses to Charles.

Three TD's will definitely do the trick.

The Falcons are thinking the same thing.

Yep, Matt Ryan never throws for a lot of yards in road wins. LMAOLMAOLMAO

He also had 351 yards in a 3-point road loss at New Orleans.

I'd say he was pretty awesome in that game.

He was also the only reason Atlanta scored AT ALL in a 3-point road loss at Tampa Bay, because his rushing attack produced 30 yards. He had 330 yards, and kept his team in the game....

You're wrong.

Matt Ryan goes on the road and kicks ass.

Which is why the Falcons win on the road.

Which is why they are one of the best teams in the NFC the last 4 years.

A team far, far beyond our meek, pathetic Chiefs.

Deal with it.

But, but, but wins against the NFC West and teams QB'd by Painter don't count. Right, Right????? Just love the double standard. HEY LOOK HOW AWESOME THEY ARE!!!!

Matt Ryan was a damn hero in that Tampa Bay game. His running game let him down.

4-12 team. Win wouldn't have counted anyway.

Which ultimately changes nothing.
Three TD's will probably be good enough to win a road game 80% of the time.

Doesn't matter what they're thinking.
The only thing that matters is what they can actually hang on the scoreboard.

Only working strategy I can think of is Cassel gets hurt in preseason.

Dayze 07-05-2012 02:04 PM

serve Cassel a large poertion of Waffle House the night before the game.

 That was a HOME game for Atlanta

In the ROAD game for Atlanta @ New Orleans Atlanta scored 16 points as they got demolished by New Orleans 45-16. So the game was not close, therefore those yards are fools gold. After all you did say this:

But since Ryan threw for 373 yards according to you he had a good game and was pretty awesome leading his team to 16 points ROFL

Speaking of the Saints, have they ever got a deal done with Drew Brees?

I know it's been talked about on here alot, but if they don't get a deal done, would there be any way they trade him away?

My bad.

And yes, that was definitely a "fool's gold" game.

But when you throw for a lot of yards in a close game, those are legit yards.

Matt Ryan is going to end us.

There is no double standard.

The Falcons have 4 winning seasons in a row.

When the Chiefs do that, I'll give them some respect.

Don't get me wrong, they are a very solid team. They are a juggernaut at home, but very beatable on the road.

I'd say they are one of the NFL's best road teams the last two years.

10 wins in two years on the road?

Compare to:

New England: 12
Pittsburgh: 12
New Orleans: 11
New York: 10
Green Bay: 10
Baltimore: 9

Yep, there you have it. The Falcons have as many road wins the last two years as the ****ing Super Bowl Champions.

Very, very good road team we're facing in Week 1.

We are the Chiefs, no one cares about such a losing franchise.
