When did Hoculi start doing college games?

lewdog 12-29-2012 02:44 PM

Geno won't win this game, solely because WVU defense is garbage.

Sassy Squatch 12-29-2012 02:45 PM

Wow that defense is terribad

Just for clarification:

Geno lovers: If he does well, what are the implications? Does it make him without a doubt the best QB in the draft? What if he does poorly? Not a big deal? You can't have both.

Geno haters: If he does poorly, what are the implications? Does it mean he is overrated and not worth the pick? What if he does well? Not a big deal? You can't have both.

Basically, I want to know what both sides think about the importance of this one game.

He already is the best QB in the draft. What happens in a snowy game doesn't really matter to me at this point. I know how shitty the WV defense is.

It's not that important. Unless Geno puts up another Baylor game, very likely no draft tard will pay attention to it.

one game doesn't determine anything...is that really even a question?

he has 3 years of games to evaluate, and this game gets added to the pile...the trends are pretty obvious and hard to argue...

I'll admit Geno hasn't had enough time to prove himself in this game yet, but please STFU about "wahhwahh coaches are holding him back" crap. My God the Geno love on here is beyond homer. He needs to have a big game though, simple as that.

I put a lot of importance on this game. It's a high pressure situation for Geno, and I want to see how he responds. It's not the end-all, but it is big. Want to see him kick ass and make picking him universally obvious.

The gmae doesn't matter. I'm mostly hoping for Geno to go through progressions, since that seems to be the rallying cry from the undecideds that Geno needs work on.
