Honestly, I'll defend Geno in this case. When have the Jets EVER been a good offensive team? Rex Ryan's whole mantra is run the ball, and play defense. Geno went to a terrible situation, and unfortunately his career will suffer for it. I bet you anything you put him on almost any other team, he is better. Marty Morningwheg as my OC.... yeah, that's awesome....lol

That's cool. Keep pretending to know more than anyone else so that we'll all be reassured that you're an immature, moronic twat.

Yes and no. Rodgers was a late rounder.

The fact remains that some years are good for first round QB's and some are bad.

This year wasn't good.

I'm talking about Cleveland. They are just dumb ****ers to begin with. Both times they took Qbs they traded back up to do it. Going the safe route with Joe Thomas and Trent Richardson, two of the best draft prospects ever and true fan wet dreams, haven't won them shit.

If you did, JFC...

You're talking two different owners and three different GM's.

And drafting Brandon Weeden with a first round pick is mutually exclusive to reaching on a QB.

It isn't mutually exclusive because it's just the latest in a long line of this exact move. The only time it almost paid off was when zubaz pants were still in fashion.

And that's the fault of Thomas, the best lt in football, and Richardson?

You ****ers know damn well Albert's future with the team was still in question.

The only thing I liked about the pick was that it wasn't Joeckel.

If that makes you feel better about it.

Pretty bad when you can't even beat a QB with a rating of 24, rookie or not. Not to mention a dismal Patriot defense.

Tom Brady 24.2 Total QBR vs Jets Geno
Smith: 15.0 Total QBR vs Patriots

Yes, it absolutely is mutually exclusive.

Had Dick Vermeil been able to put together anything other than the 31st rated defense, the end result would have been different then, too.

So we just lose to Brady instead of Manning then.
