No shit. Cold, shitty day at Wrigley. Not a lot of teams are gonna hit in that.

I understand that, but let's not act like this wasn't a trend last year as well.

Having Heyward in there instead of Grichuck/Bourjas will make a big difference. If Wong can improve his onbase% this lineup will score more runs. We have better options to spell Adams against leftys.

I was watching some of the season predication shows. 30%-40% are picking the Cards to either get back to the WS or win the WS because of out pitching depth and the belief that the line up will score more runs.

I know it's early and the weather has been garbage but yesterday the Cards had a ton of absolutely terrible at-bats. Arrieta is the new Bud Norris for the Cards.

That thought entered my mid too. He owned us at the end of last year. Picking right up where he left off.

Big City blew some real chances yesterday. Lynn threw a damn fine game and came away with an L.

There's some history there.

Arrieta is a really good pitcher he had an ERA around 2.5 last year more then a run a game less then Norris best year

Walden needs to learn to throw some ****ing strikes.

Also Matheny at it again, not bringing in Siegrist to face the top of the Reds' lineup.

kcpasco 04-10-2015 07:51 PM

1st base needs to be upgraded. I like Adams but not as a 4 hitter.

It's the 8th inning. You bring in your 8th inning guy. NO MATTER WHAT!

Adams AB's have looked like shit all season so far. Watched 3 spring training games so its 5 games so far but geeezzz. Until he gets more consistent you have to at least move him down in the lineup.

Pisses me off. Don't know why I should expect anything different.
