The $9 million was the prorated money left from his original signing bonus (money he already had in the bank). Had the Chiefs waited till post June 1, the prorated money would have been divided between this and next years cap. Bowe will receive this years signing bonus and base salary from the Browns, thats it... Nothing less, nothing more.
