parked at 0900 at 27th and Troost and walked down...it was just a madhouse.

Got to Union Station about 10:15 and it was already filling up... insane how many more people jammed into that area after that. Sitting on hotel wifi, thinking I might get home by 7... maybe?

I escaped the core of downtown right as the rally was starting. Good luck out there, people. Don't try to beat a ****ing yellow.

Looking at you, school bus that blocked the intersection of Wyandotte and 13th for 20 minutes.

The bars and bartenders are going to make a small fortune down there today along with anyone selling souvenirs.

Good time for home burglars to rob houses with everyone in the plaza including the police!

It'll be hours before people can get out of there it looks like, but what a scene!

Amazing fantastic positive crowd. Just worth whatever to be part of something so positive. The world is so ****ing screwed yet we see what is possible through a kids game.

...it truly was an amazing crowd. eleventy billion people, and not a rude one among them..from kids to seniors.

...this town is special.

Daughter and I came in from the west on 70. Took almost two hours to get to the west bottoms (Kemper parking). 40 minute walk to 13th and Grand. Felt terrible for the dozens of kids that were 5-10 rows back. They could not see anything.

What a great event. We skipped the rally and headed out after the parade. We kind of screwed up and ended up quite a ways back in the crowd and couldn't see much. We could have had a much better spot earlier. Still, it was awesome and soooo glad I made it.
