Maclin was a no-show in a big spot.

Can't believe we signed such an injury prone player for so long.

ugh

Sorry, I just joined this conversation on the last page. What in the world is going on that relates to the thread title?

Nothing. You got some folks just angrily attacking others, and those people pointlessly defending selves. It's almost as if KC lost instead of won their first playoff game since forever.

Weird shit man. Guess just shows that regardless of football, some folks are just miserable prick assholes.

Christ, I might not ever come down from this.

The Royals win against the A's in 2014 was the defining moment for me. That was just incredible. The subsequent World Series loss in Game 7 was really difficult because I was so emotionally invested after that first playoff win in 29 years.

This year's Royals run was a blast and the win was really gratifying, but oddly enough, it didn't mean as much as 2014 for me. I was happy and I'm still happy they won the World Series but for whatever reason, it felt anti-climatic.

Today's win felt the same way. Anti-climatic. There was never any point, before or after the game, in which I felt the Chiefs were in danger of losing.

This. They continued playing like the Chiefs, and if they keep doing that i can see them in the SB. They can certainly beat the patriots playing this way.

Right.

And you're such an empty minded fool that you felt the need to follow a QB to a new city and root for him exclusively.

Who has the empty life, again?

When the Ravens beat us in 2010, ten bucks says their fans didn't say, "Well, the Chiefs didn't even show up or try." That's what we did to Houston today. What the Ravens did to us in 2010.

We went into their house, let the game be closer than it should have been initially, and then wiped them out in the 2nd half. We picked on their ineffective QB, took advantage of all their mistakes (and there were plenty) and made the continually improving Patriot Way look like a hopeless cause.

We did that because we're that much better than they are. Yeah, Houston made a crap ton of mistakes. That's because they're not as good as us.

Houston definitely showed up and tried. They just aren't a good team or close to being on our level. And as much as people will hate to read this, Andy Reid and company coached a pretty damn good game. He put a clinic on for Bill O'Brien and his Patriot Way ****tards.

They're a terrible team. I said 30-9 as the score.

I gave them too much credit.

Not sure if this is serious they beat the last 11 teams they played won the first playoff game in over 2 decades so I would say that is momentum. I just am thrilled that they won all true fan and sh*t... Whatever I love this team.
