My best friend is an all Minnesota fan. He’s had a hard sports life.

Yes, all of it. Vikings, Twins, Wild, Gophers. He hates his sports existence. He is amazed by Mahomes and what the Chiefs have become because we used to feel the Chiefs/Vikings had similar fates. Even add in 2015 with the Royals and he says we are living on different planets as sports fans now. ROFL

I think the only thing you can say is you never know when "your time" will be as a sports fan... just 10 years ago, I never would have expected the Chiefs, KU, and Avalanche would win championships in a ~10 month span... or the Royals (as short-lived as it was) and Chiefs would ever be relevant.

Minnesota-Duluth won back to back natties a few years ago... :shrug:

Yeah, I paused it at 4-2 and then resumed to see the Jets' PP goal and then goal with the extra attacker.... they had like 12 shots at one point in the 3rd and really didn't look up to the task, and then may have doubled it by the end of regulation.

Own-goaled it in on a delayed penalty in the 2nd OT...
