I listen to people endlessly whine about how lucky we are, how it isn't fair, how we are the ultimate beneficiaries of ref bias, and I can't help but wonder, DID YOU ****ERS ALL LIVE UNDER A ROCK PRIOR TO 2020? Jesus. Being a Chiefs fan was like living under a ladder on the remnants of a dozen broken mirrors with a hundred black cats surrounded by angry voodoo priestesses poking little red dolls. I try to explain this to people and they look at me like I'm crazy. I swear the average fan has the memory capacity of a ****ing goldfish. Seemingly forever, we either sucked or found the most painful ways imaginable to lose important games to inferior teams. We were owned in the playoffs by the goddamn Colts for years. Who did you have to be in a previous life to deserve that? Stalin?

And while I understand the pain Bills fans feel, sorry, but I still remember my own ****ing pain, which went on and on and on for decades. So **** 'em. And all the rest of the haters. We deserve this success. And whatever future success comes our way.

Don't like my Super Bowl jacket? Well, bite me.

Amen Tim. Amazing what a franchise QB will do for a team. And we hadn't had that since Dawson.

It might be the only way they feel anything anymore... and I don't blame them?

They have beaten KC twice in the last five meetings. Both regular season wins which ultimately meant nothing.

I would say that they are the worst. They never had issues with the refs when all the calls went their way. Now that they don't, they feel the game is rigged in favor of KC. They piss and moan about the hold in the SB, but I would bet money right now they had zero issues with Chris Jones' RTP for hitting Brady in the shoulder pads, or the offsides on Ford that was called after Brady's INT.

Pretty sure they had zero issues with the refs affecting a game like that when they made "the right call". Now that it's KC they hate seeing a ref affect the outcome of a game.

Nobody ever benefited more from the refs than the Patriots, starting with Brady's fumble in the snow that led to their first ring.

Dismantle the chiefs lol they had like 7 rookies starting on defense, Mahomes with a high ankle sprain, and traded away the best wr in the game and still won superbowl.*
My favorite so far.

Bills fans see Allen as one half-step behind Mahomes, which is bullshit. If Lawrence continues to progress, Allen will soon be the 4th best QB in the AFC.

This looked to be "their year" on paper, prior to the start of the season, but instead they went full Chargers. Preseason champs.

Von makes or breaks that d and he had his second ACL tear in the same knee. He's also going to be 34 in a matter of weeks.

Their Cap situation isn't great either; Poyer probably won't be back. They might have to make some cuts.

They really needed to do it this year.

Absolutely. How do they afford to replace all that furniture?

Selling meth can be very lucrative.

They save a lot of money buying folding tables, ketchup, and mustard in bulk at Sam's Club.

Agreed. Also reading what some over there said is that KC plays their rookies which then pays off. The Bills do not. I think that might have to change as they stand to lose some vets and watching the KC model pay off they might do the same.

10 points at home in a playoff game.

Reading their stuff it appears to be as much because their Oline sucks as it is their OC. If so they might invest heavily in Oline this year to give Allen time.

There are a lot of very talented QB's in the league, especially the AFC. It's a thin margin between winning and losing in the NFL. You need injury luck, you need a smart GM finding the right players, and you need damn good coaches.

There isn't too much difference between the best QB's in my view. They're all very good and it's just a question of how much help they get around them. The best QB's can lose a ton of games when everything around them isn't good. I saw it up close with Mahomes in his college days.

Concur.

Sounds like Dorsey (their OC) is in over his head. Which is bad, because they're fully committed to "win now" at this point. Sounds like they should've been leading the pack for a new OC, upgrading their OL a bit, and of course finding some supporting weapons.

Regardless though, they have some serious issues with the cap and their starting defense. Plus, they don't have much depth on that side of the ball either, it sounds like.

I think they probably still win their division next season, but they won't be good enough to beat either CIN or KC. Might not be able to beat JAX in 2023 either.
