That is Kenpom defensive efficiency rankings for Kentucky. Aside for the outlier season in 2013 UK has been borderline great defensively every year until the 2020's. Just weird.
I was speaking more in general about the "coaching" part. His success and/or failure is directly tied to his level of talent on the court and whether they're able to overcome his shitty coaching or not.
