Open wheel simply doesn't interest me. I have checked it out but I cannot get into it. They do have some really neat looking go carts though~

I think the "?" that Bugeater inserted, meant there wasn't a photo to look at to see the worn out tires.

It was a triumph for Lotus, who proved that they not only have a fast car but are also light on their tyres; Raikkonen made just two pit-stops while the six cars behind him made three. Even though there was rubber hanging from his car, Raikkonen was still quick enough to post the fastest lap of the race just before the end.

kimi was going to drive a limited schedule for kyle busch a year or two ago. something happened, i don't remember, though.

me too. He will get a lot of help from brad k, he for sure wasnt getting that help from the 11 and 18. Denny Hamlin is such a meatball though. It was fun watching him run into the wall at the end like watching a 3 year old driving on a racing game.

cant believe they got rid of rockingham, to keep that garbage on the schedule.

no shit. I cant stand this track, i have no idea why darlington got shafted down to ONE race, while this shit hole keeps two.........

I miss rockingham, i hate this ****ing track. I will watch because both penske cars are in the top 6, but dammitt. I HATE THIS TRACK......

Bugeater 03-23-2013 01:38 PM

It's because NASCAR wants to increase their west coast presence, and they don't care if they shit on the fans that got them where they are today to do it.

Yeah, California only has one race now. It's been that way for 2 years now.

California is a bad track, no doubt. It's one of the reasons we hopped in the truck and drove to Las Vegas instead this year. But it's LA, and they like that.

thanks for the correction. What did they replace california with in the chase?

Sorry about that. lol, well, i mean vegas, dude....always need a reason for that right?

Actually, I think Kansas got the extra race from CA...

And frankly, the attendance didn't justify CA keeping another race on top of the craptastic track and management of said track. It's a pit.

And yeah, the race at Vegas wasn't a lot of fun, either...but being in Vegas sure is.

As bad as the track is, it is one of the funnest tracks on Nascar 09 to race on.

Demonpenz 03-23-2013 03:35 PM

It is always fun to drive because it is simple. You got horse power you can get to the front.

nice race - the cars are not running in a single-file parade

Edit: Larson up to 5

Kyle Busch out in front

chefsos 03-23-2013 04:48 PM

Taking two tires only didn't work out so good for Brian Scott there. Maybe he should have mounted the spare, too.

LOL... fresher tires make a big difference in Fontana

Cali: Kyle Country - Another win!

Busch and Hornish put on a show.

Nice track

Yeah that was a live 200 lap online race. Had commentators and everything.

Demonpenz: "That is people racing nascar 2003 online. It is a video game."

Yes. I think it's pretty amazing that a 10 year old game is still going. What's really cool is the tracks that some of these guys have rebuilt. And then the Openspeedway 500 is pretty cool too. That's a bunch of quality drivers there. I've never been a video gamer but I did get hooked on this. But it's simulated driving the way I do it. Anyway I thought I'd share the live race with the race fans. Hope someone watched it and enjoyed it.

Dylan 03-24-2013 01:15 PM

Inmem: The thing I like about this track, cars can go wide - very wide...

Bugeater 03-24-2013 01:21 PM

Dylan 03-24-2013 01:33 PM
