I'm looking for them at an actual store if I can track them down.

Hammock Parties 03-31-2014 08:02 PM

I literally can't decide between black and tan.

Of course I can't order online anyway because of my ****ing 4E feet.

Wonder if I can find these in wide at a mall or something?

I found them on the Sears website. Not sure if its online only or not.

Cannibal 03-31-2014 08:06 PM

I'm with you though, the more I check em out, the more I like them. I might get a pair of each. But I want to try them on first.

Cannibal 03-31-2014 08:09 PM

Says Nordstrom carries them.

Jorts..

Just go with khaki shorts, camp shorts, etc. Jean shorts just aren't back in yet.

BS. This isn't 1978.

A nice pair of suede shoes strikes an even medium between "too casual" and "too formal."

Well... good taste and fashion are timeless for some and way before 1978 as a touchstone for gentlemen. For those not familiar with the social graces and interested in an illustration of such I would suggest watching Astaire, Crosby, Grant, etc. movies.

I think that you are correct. There is an exception to every rule and why not for Cary Grant? I stated a general proposition. Continuous wear of suede without proper care renders that type of footwear somewhat shabby. If it is kept up, as with all fashion accessories, it will look fine. Especially if one has the frame and posture and fashion sense to pull it off. Some people just "wear" clothes, any clothes, very well. You may be one of them.

I'd buy the shit out of those but I just can't buy anything without trying it on first. I have weird feet and can't just buy the same size in every shoe. I guess they'd have them at Oak Park mall somewhere?

Easy 6 04-05-2014 05:40 PM

ROFL see, THIS is why 95% of the planet couldn't give a rats ass what some haute couture maven thinks is cool.

HAHAHAAA the first dude is like some cross between a Hasidic Jew and the guy from Red Dead Redemption.

I think I’m trending away from sneakers. I’ve always liked the look, but with a baby face you have to adjust or people will think you are in high school.

I just picked up some Allen Edmund wingtips (walnut) and Frye Arkansas Mid Lace boots (black). Love ‘em both.
