I'd say the AFC is down, but part of it, there are just some good defenses, people equate good defense = bad football. I mean, Ed Reed has been playing at a level as well as anyone this year, for instance, but people equate that to bad football.

The upside to the Colts losing means we can interview Chris Polian tomorrow

Dungy:
Disappoinging locker room. We didn't make enough plays to win. All we needed to do was get a first down and we didn't. Gave most kudos to the Charger punter for pinning them back. |

Really ****ing good game. Even my girlfriends mother was excited at the end of the game, and she's on tons of medication that makes her like a zombie at night!

Heh, so much for the home teams going 0-4 this weekend.

Matt Millen sure knows a lot about football. What a sharp guy. He should be running a franchise.

I hate all that yellow on the field for the last drive, but it's not like Indy wasn't shooting themselves in the foot. At the very least, you'd think that Dungy got his just desserts for thinking the overtime rules didn't need to be altered.

If nothing was at stake for us, I'd want Baltimore to win. But if it helps us get guys in for interviews and get a decision made, then GO DOLPHINS! |

Philip Rivers really does sound like he's always half a sentence away from yelling, "YO ASS BETTER CALL SOMEBODYYYYYY." Spot on, KSK.

They hired 'Herm Edwards' to run the franchise...they lucked into Peyton Manning...I have no faith in the way Indianapolis runs their franchise...they lucked into the greatest football player of our lifetime...whoooopdeeedoo. NO POLIAN. |

But **** Indianapolis for using the Tampa 2 and not being able to stop a 3rd and long...all night long...I told my friends...pray for a 3rd and 3...because if it's 3rd and 13 they are getting a 1st down every time... Tony Dungy is equally as bad as Herm Edwards. I promise. He should thank his LORD every night for Peyton Manning. |

AVG Draft 1.4 HAHAHAHAHAH What a ****ing bitch. I hated him ever since the NE game where he whined like Rivers. **** LT and **** the Bolts. |

If this was a Manning choke job, or you think that way...you are simply a ****ing idiot. |
Does anyone know if Peyton Manning did take a hike while he was in SD?

If you have no faith in the way Indy runs the franchise (solid drafting, no wasted cash on high priced FA's) then there's no one we can hire you'll be happy with. And that's coming from someone who thinks there are better options than Polian. |

Indy has as strong a drafting record as anyone in the league. |
I just wanna see Sproles against the Pittsburg or Baltimore D.

Those guys were not good picks. Indy got Peyton...plain and simple...they can draft any offensive skill player and they will not bust because Peyton makes everyone around him better. |
I'm going to assume a Clark Hunt-Chris Polian interview will take place this week.

They could have plucked two dozen Bob Sanders and without the best QB of all time they'd still be drafting in the top 10. Manning makes every offensive pick bust proof. I don't want Polian. He trusted Dungy to be the head coach...that alone makes me think he'll keep Herm on. No Herm. No Tampa 2. ANYTHING else. The fact Peyton SINGLE-HANDEDLY won 12 games this year is unbelievable. |

The 9 game winning streak was because of ONE draft pick...the #1 overall. Peyton Manning was unbelievable this year. Put him on the Chiefs...with Herm...and this team...this year...and we EASILY win the West...by two games. |

Sanders misses so many games...how is he a good pick? He is unbelievably good at football...so talented. He played 6 games this year...he played about the same last year...that's not a good pick. Gonzalez is a quality player. He was a 1st round pick. What do you expect? He has yet to have a Brandon Stokley type season...so instead of wasting a first round pick on Gonzalez...why didn't they resign Stokley and draft a linebacker or something they needed in the first round instead of a luxury who has done nothing more than be a 4th option... |
