a few weird things....
1) RG3's YPA is pathetic. he's approaching rich gannon status. 2) chris johnson, RB, sucks. he got fewer carries than my backup, david wilson, and has a pathetic YPC. messed up. |
Sioux Falls off to a really nice 2-0 start.
Pleased with this team. |
Corona with a 38-35 OT win!
The Lights went up 35-28 at 6:13 left in the 4th on a Chris Long sack and fumble recovery. That led to a Vick Ballard 9 yd TD run. Ben Rapelesslately led the Lone Wolf Pack on a tying drive with :13 left on the clock. Ten minutes of OT later, FG FTW! |
This hurt. Tackled on the 6 yard line as he tried to win the game on a dramatic play.

Anchorage is off to a disappointing 0-2 start as our offense is struggling and our defense is getting shellacked. We're benching Nigel Bradham and A.J. Jefferson to see if Jarrett Johnson and Mike Jenkins can do any better.
|
My lord, the Law Firm is just a trash halfback.
Justin Forsett, you're gonna get your shot - you can't possibly be worse than that !@#$ing bum. PS - Dear Matt Schaub: A 55% completion percentage when you faced only a 7% pressure rate is completely unacceptable. Get your shit in order, son. As well as Little Rock played in Week 1, they played equally poorly today. Not a good effort at all. |
My #1 WR now has 8 total targets in 2 weeks
|
I just now updated player availability to week 3. We'll sim Saturday night.
|
If you had a pending bid on a free agent, it was likely just awarded. It may not show up on your line-up until week 4. Please reduce your rosters to 53 players. I'll run a check on all the rosters soon and publicly shame any offenders.
|
Greg hardy with the big time sack and forced fumble at my three yard line to preserve the win. Wow
|
Anchorage finally got a win, but it took a touchdown with 2:15 left to do it, and a monster game by Lesean McCoy.

Provo now has the league's #1 offense.
|
Rancho Cucamonga put 8 sacks on the board this week, and still managed to pull out the win only with a heroic drive in the final minute of the game.
|
Our game was crazy rain man. Defensive battle, my defense has given up just 15 points through three games.

The Sioux Falls/Waco game is a comedy of errors.
I won, but felt like I lost. 2.1 YPC LMAO |
Santonio Holmes lead the Pembroke Pines Patteeus in receiving again, but he also had 3 drops. As expected, my skill position players, outside of Matt Ryan, are dismal.
Turnovers helped us win for the first time this year though so "Yay Defense!" |
Quote:
Is he starting for you? |
Quote:
Kevin Walter Marvin Jones Riley Cooper Rod Streater Santonio Holmes T.Y. Hilton I'll probably start Hilton from game 5 on. |
2 of my OL starters were out. My lack of holes kept my RB's at bay.

Week 4 lineups and game planning are ready. I tried one last time to update the availability table. I'm sure it's still not perfect.
Sims on Tuesday night. |
Thank you for calling Sandbox customer service. Your expected wait time is between (pause) one (pause) day and (pause) seven (pause) days. We are experiencing data outages due to weather conditions and have dispatched all available technicians to address the problems. We appreciate your patience. Please continue to hold.

Sims on Thursday night. We see the dust rising on the horizon.
|
No C. Geathers
D. Florance J. Simpson (leaves 3 available WR) |
As of now, you can set your week 4 rosters for Thursday's sims.
rtmike -- I had not yet reset the rosters before you posted last. But all of the players you listed missed time due to injury in 2012. |
I assume it is too late to get in on this, so Rain Man, could you kindly post the information so I might be prepared for next year?

If not, register using the acccess code 6Lanier3. Go through the registration screens until you get to the screen where you pick your team name and STOP. Post back in this thread and I'll assign you the team Rain Man indicates. |

Set your lineup based on the players you have now for tonights sims. I'll fix the few injury issues in time for week 5. I'll sim in about 3.5 hours.
|
I just registered.
Edit: Learned to read posts. |
I'm predicting a wild shootout between Sioux Falls and the KC Fubar.

Under the game planning thread you can set your line up on offense and defense, and make your game plans. I'll run sims around around 9:00 EST tonight and you can see how your team did under the "league schedule" menu item. The best way to do it is to read the play-by-play before you know the outcome of the game. |

I may bench Tannehill in hopes Norv Turner has straightened out Weedon. Another reason why I traded with you for him to begin with. |
GIVE ME SIMS!!!!

I have a feeling this is going to take me a very long time to even remotely figure out.

Initially I was overwhelmed trying to figure out the game planning, etc. One thing's for sure, there's several things I probably would have done different now that I'm starting to get a grasp of things. RM, cd, how many owners' short are you? I've been in a league for 5 years. The commissioner runs about 5 leagues. He has a waiting list for owners' wanting to join. If you're not active for a couple weeks you're history. So that's 50-70 dedicated managers'. Well, he's taking this year off. If you'd like I can hit the email list up with a Sandbox invite, your call. I'm willing to bet you'd get whatever owners' needed. |

good god, st louis put up 59 points on lexington.

Yikes. I need help at Wr and te.
Is there a way to view other teams depth charts? |
Additionally, I feel as if I joined at the worst time.

ya you missed the entire draft, trading, and free agency.

Week 1 and 2 sacks and QB pressure were artificially low due to a database error. They've been correct for week's 3 and 4. |

check out RG3's statline this week:
Player Att Comp Yards TDs Int Comp % YPA Rating Robert Griffin III 21 5 37 0 4 23.8 1.75 0 yeah, something smells like shit. that's WITH a nice mix of wildcat and a somewhat conservative gameplan (EXACTLY like the mike shannahan offense). am I wrong in saying that this doesn't seem like a correct sim of RG3? he was dynamite in the NFL. thought this correlated! a ****ing free agent QB could do better than this shit. |
My Sandbox coach is Herm Edwards.

In any case, Brees only completed 54% for me. Defense held up alright. I probably need to adjust my 3wr personnel and my base personnel/philosophy. Murray is going to get a bunch of carries until the draft, me thinks. |
Annnnnnnd Jay Cutler loses the game.

Who in the blue hell is Robert McClain?
|
Also, I wonder if I'm cursed for having Belcher on my roster.
|
McClain is a very good young corner for Atlanta.

My OL sucked horribly this game. 39 percent pressure allowed. That's what happens when you have a mediocre guard starting at RT. |
Not as bad as the line I faced 50% pressure rate and 10 sacks.

Yeah, I couldn't figure out what was up with that myself. :hmmm: Surprised you didn't burn me with some passing plays or I didn't at least get a sack out of my safeties since I thought I'd try something new with you & bring everything + the kitchen sink in my nickel packages like 95% of the time too. I figure with this being my 1st year I'd try some new shit to see if it worked. Robert McClain is an under rated CB for the Falcons. I thought I needed to have a starting CB so I traded off Ware for J. Norman & a LB. Norman didn't last very long, McClain is opposite C. Rogers now, well has been anyways. |
Aaron Rodgers is on pace for 52 TDs.
Adrian Peterson is on pace for 2348 yards rushing. Not bad. |

Poor game from Jay. With these receivers, he should be toasting the blitz. |

That's some crazy shit there cause I did the same thing. 2nd & short...pass. 3rd/4th & short...pass. I tried all kinds of different schemes hoping to make something happen. It's all good. One more win & this rebuilt team will have equaled last year's win total......and I just jinxed myself. |

His stats in league 1 are at least reasonable: Robert Griffin III Cedar Rapids 138 80 904 7 4 58 6.55 82.5 |
Seattle is sure having trouble putting points on the board despite lining up Arian Foster and Doug Martin as our running backs. Our loss this week was heartbreaking.

I would like to apologize in advance to the Lexington Akitas.

Damn, for some reason Peterson ran it 38 times. I can't be having that.

I'm reading the Sioux Falls-Lexington play by play and Lexington just took a 7-3 lead. This is horrifying.
