If he can no longer bail himself out with his legs, he might as well be Cassel.

Exactly. He is Alex Cassel. |

I mean he bashed the linemen a couple weeks ago in the pff thread when 4 of the 5 (actually 5 of the 6 who played) graded out higher in their position group than Alex did. |
Sandy has grown on me. He's a very passionate fan. Of our team 2nd, and Alex 1st but very passionate. Like football is supposed to be. Passion. Doesn't bother me at all. It's not like the Patriot shit bags we inherited when Pioli came to town.

I hope he bleeds out from a ruptured anus and the paramedics find him with his fist still shoved up there.

It's going to be fun to remind you of it when I'm still here.. as this same Chiefs fan... after Smith is gone. http://img.pandawhale.com/85386-bore...y-Cou-e57F.gif |

Don't try to play games with me.. you're not sharp enough. I'll see you on here years from now.. long after Smith is gone. Then what will you say... (notice, no question mark) |

Sandy, I think you might be ****ed here. I tried though. Apparently the consensus is **** you and **** your Dad. (Blokes Advice joke)

Sandy is such a bitch that at halftime of the Chargers game....he stated that he was throwing away his Alex Smith jersey. Alex wins the game and now he's back on his nuts worse than before. He came here because Smith.....and then wouldn't shut up about how none of the team's problems were on Smith. He repeatedly echos that he doesn't have enough weapons....or his offensive line sucks....or Reid's play calling is what's hurting Smith. **** him.

I have endured nearly 10K posts of attacks and persecution. It all just splatters right off of my tough hide. I'll endure 50K more... roll my eyes a lot, and smirk through it just fine. If I came here for pleasantries 4 years ago, I'd have scampered away long ago. |

Wow. Did not read those posts. Sandy...

It'd be funny if Sandy stayed here after Alex retired and turned into a poster that constantly shits on the starting QB...simply because he's not Alex.

That, and quickly learned the CP way of getting down and dirty with the hostility. Not one of my proud moments, and I don't think I ever properly apologized to George.. though I don't suspect it matters to him. |

Yeah, I'd guess those comments.. from last yr maybe?.. were right after a game... since that's usually when George posts his 10 things. I was probably feeling the loss strongly, and took out my suffering on others. Now, I take things much easier.. and less seriously. So, I guess.. thanks, CP? or Chiefs? You have adequately desensitized me! :) http://gifrific.com/wp-content/uploa...ve-on-Boat.gif |

By my current estimation, Alex Smith ranks about right here on the Casselian Scale:

It's not happening. Smith will finish out the year and we'll hear about how this offense needs more weapons and better blocking. Foles will move onto another team.

I don't know what broke down on him quicker...his football intelligence or his body. He had a good run....it's time to move on. Put in Foles and see if you even want to bring him back next year. |
On the bright side, Andy Reid has said, "no one is a bigger fan of Nick Foles than me." And this was last year when he went to St. Louis.... So we know Andy genuinely loves Foles. I dunno, I am less skeptical of Alex being benched for Foles than I was Cassel ever being benched for...errr, Stanzi, Palko, Quinn, Tanney or Croyle... I think it's possible we see it happen....either that or some injury to Alex randomly "pops up."
|
When does it happen? Say we come out after our bye week and get stomped by the Raiders.....is it then?
Smith has 4 defenses coming up that are beatable. The Raiders, Saints, Colts and Jags can all be beat on defense. |

Interesting stat from 810 this AM..Alex is on pace to throw the 4th most passes in a season in NFL history.

Although who the **** knows anymore at this point. All I know is that this offense should be light years ahead of where they are now. |

Inexcusable to abandon the run. |

Arrowhead pride broke it down that Alex smith only had 1 or 2 passes that went + 20yrds.
35 passes inside 15 yrds......35?!?! He also hasn't been running as much, which plummets his value significantly....that's probably his best quality. If he's not running he's a below average game managing qb. |

Going back to April, does anyone believe the report that we wanted Lynch or do you think it was just a rumor floated by the Chiefs?

If the Chiefs wanted him, they could have made it happen.
If they wanted him, yet let Denver sneak in front of them because they didn't want to use picks, they are idiots. Bottom line: If you want a guy, you make it happen. |

I also did not get to see the kc-sd game but followed it on the NFL Game center app on my Cell phone. Didn't Alex have like 70 yards total passing yards until garbage time in the SD game allowing SD to get to a big lead that they pissed away after Allen went down? He was terrible in the Houston game as well. No TD drive. Dinking and dunking to FG's. Then there was the nailbiter Jets game despite the fact that Fitz threw some 7 or 8 INTs he kept driving down threatening to make it a one score game if not for repeatedly turning the ball over in the red zone. Had Alex had a couple more drives it would have been a laugher. Pitt: Stone walled again until garbage time late in the game. Couldn't do anything to keep drives alive. His 1st over all pick LT letting him down causing sacks and turnovers. The problem with Smith is he cannot throw deep consistently enough. All the big chunk plays by kc are mid range throws where there is YAC involved or the D has been cleared out underneath leaving lots of space for the ball runner to make a move. It is rare to see Alex hit on a 30 or more yard, IN THE AIR, pass play. Reid has done nothing with this team in his 4 years. It looks the same on O as it did when he took over but worse on D because of entropy and drafting guys like Dee Ford. Guessing this is the last year of the Andy, Alex train! Toot Toot. |
Smith's high for pass attempts was 2013 with 508. That year he had 3,313 yards with 23 TDs and 7 INTs.
