Yep pretty much identical numbers only difference is Chubb has been in the league a year longer.

Kinda shocking they don't have more though right?

CupidStunt 11-01-2022 12:42 PM

Makes sense. Their owner gives NO ****s about the future.

They'll regret it in 2-3 years, zero question. Let's see how they end up doing this year.

Another pass rusher to hurt Josh Allen. [emoji106]

2-3 years in the NFL is an eternity guys. The Chiefs have damn near turned over their entire roster in 3 years.

Sure, if you hit on a player worth it.

Which at that point in the draft, isn't much different than a 2nd rounder.

You're logic is so completely flawed and everyone has tried explaining it, but you just don't seem to get it.

A big part of that is his inability to trust protection and he gets rattled. TJ is going to help a HUGE amount in that because he will help seal the edge and provide a dependable receiving option.

This is a huge get for Minnesotas chance to get to a Super Bowl

We have a perpetually open window as long as we have Mahomes. Other teams operate with heightened urgency when they sense theirs is closing. Chiefs have the luxury of not operating like that if they choose not to. This year is proof of that.

There are a lot of idiot GMs. That doesn't really help your case and who has it worked for? If KC wasnt such a good franchise, then that Frank Clark trade could have really ****ed us. If Patrick Mahomes doesn't take a deal that's extremely club friendly, then that Clark deal could have kept us from keeping Jones and without him this D is absolute trash.

If you can get Chubb for 1 late first and a 4th, then Josh Allen shouldn't cost any more than a late two.

Well, the Rams have been to 2 of the last 3 Sb's, winning 1.

The Chiefs did it, Seattle etc.

The Rams made their first Super Bowl with a #1 overall pick at QB, before they started selling all their draft picks. They still have only made it to 2 Super Bowls, winning one.

Seattle made it to a grand total of 2 Super Bowls, winning one, before falling off a cliff over the last couple of years.

The goal here is to win MULTIPLE championships, not just one.

Sure, but you also have to get a guy to push you over that edge from time to time. Especially having Andy and Mahomes for a while.

I don't think they'll do it this year though. We're probably done trading.

Also the Rams will not be making it to the Super Bowl this year so that's a 50% win rate. It ticks me off pretty badly when I hear about the two Rams appearances in the SB, because both of those years the Chiefs were so close to going, and they would've won both. Mahomes was so close to going to a Super Bowl in each of his first four years and winning 3 out of the 4, so damn close.

Imagine if they'd have taken Herbert...

That's their misstep...had they done that they're probably better than Buffalo.

Because he posted ominous rap lyrics 20 minutes ago and people thought he was talking about getting traded.

Ken Bone 11-01-2022 01:13 PM

We better draft Jesus Christ himself with that 2023 1st round pick. I hope the Clarks are happy that they get to walk up on stage and name another 1st round bust.

Veach should be trading that 1st pick and whatever else it takes to get a DE who can actually get to the QB.

What’s Nick Athan saying???

TribalElder 11-01-2022 01:15 PM

OH MY GOD THE BIGGEST TRADE EVER IS JUST ABOUT TO BREAK

- every slap dick on twitter in the final hour before the trade deadline

Chiefs are 2nd best team in the NFL by one last minute drive.

No need for Veach to overpay for a DE that might now be good. Wait for the offseason

Yep. Wait til we know we can't rush the passer after a playoff loss with no pressure.

I like it.

Ok buddy, we get it. Trade all the picks forever.

With the 1st we traded for a pass rusher right?

It's not really even the picks now. It was all offseason thru FA and everything. This problem was made then and needed fixed then, not now.

Gotta just hope Clark doesn't shit himself and Karlaftis keeps coming along I guess.

We have the best passer in the game. As long as we can protect our passer like our opponents protect theirs, we win. We can do this without trading.

Yeah, the 5th ranked DE we take at pick 29 will surely have alot of bend and quickness.

TO the lifeboats!
