I suspect that this series won't be anywhere close to a repeat of the last one for the Wild. The Wild did a great job of clogging up the neutral zone against the Avs (even in games where they lost), but Chicago just skates right through them and gains the zone. Unless Minny somehow figures out how to stop that, it's gonna be a short series for them.

The Wild looked pretty good in game one, then went back to their Wild ways in game two.... at least they did in the first period, as I kinda fell asleep.

The Rangers will completely waste Lundqvist's career.

Predarat 05-05-2014 07:32 PM

wow Marc Andre actually has been playing pretty damn well the past few games. That could be scary for the East.

Bearcat 05-05-2014 08:09 PM

Spend the last 45 seconds looking for the perfect shot... :spock:

Fleury's looking good. That's a solid two wins on back to back nights.

Mother****erJones 05-05-2014 08:17 PM

Fleury!! Back to back shutouts. If he gets back to '09 form lookout

Predarat 05-05-2014 08:18 PM

Damn without those Dmen Quick is going to have to be lights out.

Predarat 05-05-2014 08:19 PM

Damn that the exact start the Kings needed.

Pushead2 05-05-2014 09:55 PM

Getzlaf has looked slow as shit. I'm convinced he's playing with a lower body injury.

Pushead2 05-05-2014 10:50 PM

Panic time for Anaheim for sure.

CaliforniaChief 05-05-2014 10:52 PM

Yeah well I'm sure the Sharks felt good up 2-0 too.

Anaheim is refusing to adjust to the Kings style. Sure you can fire 40 shots, but if they're garbage "one & done" shots, they're not going to win you games.

Predarat 05-06-2014 07:48 AM

Taking both games in the Pond, very ****ing HUGE for the Kings, well done!

CaliforniaChief 05-06-2014 08:43 AM

No question, a fantastic start to the series. I'm confident that a veteran team like the Kings won't relax. However, I am still expecting a 6 game series.

Kings split at Staples, lose Game 5 in Anaheim, and win it at Staples in 6. Hopefully.

Predarat 05-06-2014 11:12 AM

Preds get Peter Laviolette! A bit of a retread but a good get.
